Someone probably already said this but a really interesting thing about the sons is they each have a personality trait from Ragnar, bjorn being the warrior and leader, ivar being the mastermind in battles/tactics and also the brutality of Ragnar, hvitserk representing the religious split/doubt that Ragnar also had and finally Ubbe being the farmer, explorer, trader and settler
