Medhi, that was awesome! I'd love to see it even longer range. A 30kw ERP signal is achievable on the ham bands (1.5kw into a 13 dbi gain antenna). There's a lot of _potential_ for this idea!

Dude, great idea! I am going to try that next time there's lightning. I have one of those AS3935 moduels and I was never impressed with its ability to detect lightning, at least in my situation.

This is really cool - I have never heard of this before. I wonder if you just leave that sitting out, would it be a good lightning detector, and if so, at what range?
