if i'm getting paid $40/hr, logging in to twitter, following lulzbot, sending a tweet, explaining everything will take about 2 minutes, or 1/30h, in monetary terms $1.30. at 5m subs, assuming a conservative 1% retweet/sub rate, my chances of winning are roughly 1/50000 let's assume generously the value of the lulzbot at $5000, or my equivalent winnings of $0.10. since $1.30>$0.10 it's 13x less profitable to follow and tweet than it is to do nothing. on the other hand, i did just spend 10 minutes working out the math and looking up lulzbot printers.......
