Making Induction Heater with ZVS Circuit

Mehdi, can you use this to make your own instant water heater? If you get a water flow rate meter, you can calculate how much water is passing, then try to get a constant temperature as quick as possible.

It is actually called a resonant Royer oscillator. ZVS is a feature of different kinds of circuits, not a name of a circuit, this is why you stuck.

Not related to this (or any other) video, but could this work? Seems like the "jet" propulsion would push him back while the air on the umbrella would push him forward. Wow, now I need to checkout the circuit modelling app, up my subscription a bit for that and say that this is an exciting project! :-D

I have just played with relays to dynamically switch a big transformer for underfloor heating, good thing I thought of connecting them in series with the transformer! But hey, I also once measured the amps by bypassing the transformer and shorted the circuit... hmm, not as good :-/ :-D

I really like the coverage of the incredible currents and voltage that can happen in resonant circuits. Related, there is a magnetic antenna design used in amateur radio called a "small tuned loop" that can generate incredibly massive currents in a low-resistance loop of tubing (usually copper).

This reminds me a lot of my old job where we used large single-turn induction coils to heat up truck camshafts and crankshafts, and then quickly quenched them to harden the surface. The sound made by six of them running at once at full power was intense!
