Why not just run a long wood screw through the 'hold-down-u-shaped-thingy' into the wood above instead of the nails - I do feel your rage however whenever inanimate things try to 'beat' you...

Beautiful concept. Perhaps with a touch of rage I'll get the bathroom renovation project finally done and the nagging will cease. Or at least the focus of the nagging will shift.

I love the term "Rage-fixing". There are any number of knobs, hinges, hooks, and support brackets in my home that have received angry applications of epoxy, nails, screws, or just brute force after disappointing failures to perform their one job...

I replaced the bifold closet doors with shower curtains that are printed to look like antique barn doors. They're cheap, look good and easy to change to some other print if I get tired of looking at a barn door. 8-)

My last house had a few of these doors. They were terrible!

Words, like "good", "nice", "fine", "calm", "easy", "soft", "cozy", "epic", "flow", "hero", "kind", and of course "boom", right?

Tear em out and replace them with stone walls. 100x more secure.

But . . . surely this whole project could've been done better with same big capacitors.

I ripped out all them in my house.

I feel your pain. I have bi-fold closet doors in my bedroom, and they're always coming off the track!
