Whiskey Wednesday
🕑 Added 2020-06-10 22:16:29 +0000 UTCHope everyone is having a great Wednesday! Today, I am choosing to share with you Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition Irish Whiskey. This was one of the first Irish Whiskeys I tried, and it's one I always go back to. Maybe, it's because the couple I was sitting next to when I first tasted it, said this was their daily whiskey drink ;-) It's smooth and a good go-to.
The casks were sent to the local craft stout brewers at Franciscan Well in Cork, Ireland, where they were subsequently used to give a stout finish to Jameson.
More details courtesy of Master of Malt:
Nose: There's still cut grass and some fruit alongside delicious oily pot still character, but things are different here too. A different sweetness perhaps, more wood spice plus chocolate liqueur.
Palate: Orchard fruits, great mouthfeel but the vanilla cream is less prominent, it's more fragrant and floral on the palate with a touch of bitterness.
Finish: Again familiar, but different, that different complexion of spice with chocolate from the nose lingers briefly.
The second photo is a throwback of a visit to Nomad Hotel Bar. They only carried one Irish Whiskey and it was Jameson Black Barrel. I'd have a hard time differentiate these two Jamesons, but I enjoyed this one as well and just bought a new bottle for my collection.
Stockings: Secrets in Lace
Heels: Aquazzura Minou Suede

This is how I would want the evening to end after you caught my attention in the office. Referring to the Office Seduction post from June 8. The fantasies my mind can conjure.
