I really enjoyed hanging out with you in Discord and even though most of us can, and have, chatted in the Roleplay Lounge, having a server for just us was more intimate and for me, at least, far more comfortable.

Same! I know it seems incongruous considering how many people I talk to in a day, but I get stage fright without a script!

I was definitely far more comfortable in a smaller server, I tend to just mute and disappear from servers once they get too big, only occasionally lurking. Which is why I never talk in the RP lounge, but I lurk.
