I am very bussy working on Harem,
i wished to have the next update done by this weekend but yea... its always something isn't it.
But let me bring you up to date what i had done, its quite alot!
First thing, look at the video above,
i did not planned to have a Inverse Kinematic system for the Feet and Spine in 0.9, but this annoyed me so much while working on the animations that i had to implement it.
Its not perfect yet, but its good enough that i wont waste anymore time on it, i want you to finally play the new version!
You maybe know that Frost and Harem are both my main Projects and they are big!
They are not simply minigames they are complete games with little storys and many characters to meet.
Yes Harem is currently 20 gb.... no really Twenty Gigabyte O_o its not comparable with 0.8 its a whole new game, most of it are Animations and Textures.
Btw Frost is the same, but there are some old files in there so the final size will be hopefully a bit smaller.

I also added ALL of the characters for Harem into One 3d studio max file, this took me almost a full day, because 3ds max is *crashy* when adding complex character rigs, but now its all fine and everything is finally in one scene.
Do not look at the Right side of the image if you hate spoilers :P
btw look at the bottom left: 2777 Objects.....(most are bones tough) i was shocked when i have seen how much everything combined is :O
The file alone is nearly 800mb... at least the newest update (2022) is much faster with this but still its the biggest filesize i had with only models ^^
Inside Unreal i had to change the Level loading type,
Now i am using Level Streaming for everything, it was way to big to have everything in one level.
This was a bit tricky but i had a trick for it, i copied the whole World and then deleted everything i did not wanted inside the streaming level :D
But this sadly means i had to redo the Terrain, so the placement of your House will change a bit Sorry :/
The nice thing is, i finally found a excuse to use the same terrain system i had used in Frost ^_^
Its Voxel based and supports overhangs and caves (there are no caves though but who knows what will come after 1.0)
I also had a dream a few days ago, and i added a new private area to your Palace, its still in blockout, but you see that the entrance to it is this stair and its right before the Throne room.
If you go upstair to your private area, you will have a big room i will make it nice and cozy for you up there! :3
There is also the interior of the Pyramid finally ingame,
I love mirages throne in the series, and i made it a few months ago, its a 1/1 replica :3

I also made a ton of Animations, but i had a Problem with the Skeletons and Animation Blueprints inside Unreal, i found out that you can't use a different animation blueprint for a skeleton even when the Bones have the same name -_-

But no worry i just need to reimport all animations into one combined skeleton, already did this but i need to make new animation blueprints and copy the code from the old one into the new one.
And something else, I like to thank YOU♥ for helping me making my dream come true, i have something very special planned for You, you will have a awesome adventure with Mirage and help her corruptiong the whole Toon world, its going to be FUN, and something you have never seen before!

Im sure this is probably a huge request, but think you could consider throwing some of the other feral models in there? Not a fan of ponies but really like the felines from fantasy harem

Thank you♥ i am always polishing the models now that i got morph targets to work its much fun trying out different bodyshapes :3 And i recoded EVERYTHING for 0.9 and this time i made all characters "Children" from a base class, so its perfectly possible to assume control of every character you like, i plan to have a potion or something that turns you into a character you like, because directly switching into one will i fear be a Bug magnet ^^

Thank you for noticing ♥ I've spend way more time on that pyramid than i should have been ^^ i sculpted the stones and builded pyramid parts and from there i builded the pyramid like lego :D It is possible to make the Fur longer or shorter at Runtime, i will look into adding a Fluffyness slider in the options menu :3 For the Rabbits, there is a Rabbit Angel and Snowfox, its tied with the story and a fun feature you will understand when you start the game! For Zebras, the ZeMan is the AnthroZebra model from 0.8, i prepared also a Feral Zebra based on my Horse model but it will be there after 0.9 maybe 1.0 :)

Hey Furrier, I personally like the running animation that you have built in much better than that the character just walks down the slope with a straight running movement. <3 <3 <3 The throne room where the Mirage is, puts you straight into Egyptian mythology. ^^ In return, the Furrier Community should give the Patreon contribution a Like, because your work just looks very good. I just wonder, could the animals be made fluffier there? :) Is there actually going to be rabbits in harem and how does it look like normal zebras, so also zeman and normal zebras?

Will it be possible later in the game to control the animals from Harem like in the video, or is this only a temporary fuction to demonstrate, for example the movement? And i can't wait to get the next version from Harem to play. And btw the cats now look much better than before the change of the belly-region

they feel much more "grounded" in the world that way, especially when walking or standing on stairs.... it was well worth the work to implement this IK :3

Google drive is much better for filesharing, but if there are problems with this i will add a Torrent download option! And you won't need to have a 2080, i am using a 1070gtx my goal is 60 fps on medium, 30 on high. But for Ultra yea you need a 2080 i guess.... They are the same graphic settings as in Dream³ but with added Fur quality switches, they made it crash last time thats why they are missing there :c

I do love seeing seeing your DevBlogs! Every time you show what you have done it looks more and more impressive. To be honest I sometimes think that I don't want to see the Blogs because it would ruin the surprise when you finally release Harem or Frost... THEN my curiosity gets the best of me. THE HYPE IS STILL REAL!

20GB!? I really really hope you have a mega account because the free one allows 5 GB every 5 hours for free. That and I really hope I do not need a 2080 to play the games because they are impossible to get because of crypto miners and scalpers. I mean it is great you have added this much but wow... I really hope it wont take 3 days to download one game. -_-
