Tough weeks.

Last two weeks have been a financial nightmare.
It started with my son breaking a mercury thermometer. The mercury ended up carried all across the apartment contaminating the floors, sofa, some clothes, the cat, toys etc. The contamination level of the air was 100x the maximum permissible concentration. The decontamination service have cleaned the apartment, but a lot of stuff had to be thrown away.
After that an unexpected medical bill.
After that two birthdays in one week.
And this is another chance for me to say thank you for your support! It really is a difference between life and death at times like this.

I hope that the mercury contamination was covered under home owner or renters insurance.

They are made of glass and are quite fragile. It was my fault being careless and leaving it in the child's reach distance.
