TL;DR : Should I switch from charging people on the 1st of the month to charging people on the day they joined?

Patreon's been popping up with the message 'You can now charge new patrons monthly on the same date they joined, instead of the 1st of the month'
I originally ignored it as monthly worked for my schedule, but now that I've gotten rid of the schedule and I'm just planning on trying to get things out weekly I'm more open to this.
Wanted to see what people thought of switching to this

I always prefer the 1st personally, that way I consistently know when I’ll be charged. That said, I think switching is more likely to incentive new people to join rather than them seeing you and hopefully remembering to join when the new month starts. Regardless, unless they’ve changed something recently, this payment swap won’t affect current members who will still be charged on the 1st. So do what you think is best!

Small note, I'm leaning towards switching payment methods as most of my refunds are from double charges via people coming in at the end of the month ^^ So if no only wins by a little bit I'll possibly switch-
