According to Patreon FAQ: At the moment, discounts are only redeemable for new paid members to a Patreon, and won’t work for existing paid members. So I guess cancel first, then resub? But perhaps Mixte knows even more.

Hey sorry, this might be a dumb question but im trying to subscribe to a hier tier and there is no place to put the code to get discount. How does that work, do i have to cancel my current subscription and get new one or is this only for new people.
