That's very sweet of you to suggest it! But since we must perform test printing anyway, it only makes sense to take good photos on our own. :)

If I didn’t live in Canada I definitely would take pictures for you guys. I mean I suppose I still could. Just gotta print everything 😌

Ideally, not having the lines in the first place is the best way to handle them. :) When cutting the model, it's always best to hide any merge points behind clothes or somewhere else where they wouldn't be visible. Sadly, that is not always possible, and definitely not controllable by anyone but the artist. As for hiding the seams on the printed figure, here are replies from different team members. Des: smaller seams can be hidden by applying resin with a toothpick or a thin brush, then curing it with a UV pen. I also do that when repairing prints. I also know that painters hide seams with putty or what is known as "green stuff", but I've never tried it myself. Lena (MOFU): I sand all parts very thoroughly for a close fit to make the seams barely visible, Afterwards I paint the parts and glue them together.

Looks great! So what is your technique for filling in the piecing lines? I too would suggest a real DSLR and tripod for photos.

Thanks for the tip! I don't really aim for DSLR because I've never really had any interest in professional photography, and without a proper skillset this is just an expensive toy. That said, I have considered outsourcing test print pics to a professional photographer on several occasions. I think we'll try doing that if the Patreon grows large enough to account for such extra costs.

If you’re going to be serious about taking photos for commercial purposes, get a DSLR. As to phone apparently you should wait for the Pixel 7 to drop in October and then either get the Pro version or get a Pixel 6 Pro when the price inevitably drops after the 7 releases.
