You have to understand the nature of the apocalypse. There was no blackout, or EMP, or any of that stuff. The Internet and phones still work. There might be more interference in some areas due to magic, but the old tech still works. Just like pre-apocalypse guns and armor still work. The issue with weapons and armor is that they are extremely ineffective against System threats, unless they have been 'reconditioned' to be in the System, or built from the start to be in the System. Computers, phones, and the like have their original functionality, but System-compatible computers and phones would have additional capabilities.

Maybe someone was able to become a living AI. Someone who spent all their time online, or watching/reading stories about living a digital life got the chance during character creation. By definition, that would require the System establish a viable internet.

I do not think they gave any hint except that the demon got the adventures guild to give him access. If I remember correctly. It is only the mention of plugging in the phone that made one think she was using it to chat.

Strange, thou you said you will do it with the chat room, and epilogues, but I did not expect. This is quite out of character for the book IMHO. How did they know to be in the chat room? How did the chat room even worked?

This would make a little more sense. I'v e liked the chat's at the start/end of volumes of previous, but it makes less since here. At least initially. I'll have to re-read the earlier chapters of lewd dungeon to see how the chat worked there.

Or a new chat App appeared on their devices . Or a chat function as part of their system interface.

Honestly I'm having trouble with this one, it doesn't really make sense that a bunch of strangers from one town, using different devices/services under questionable circumstances would be able to hop into some common chat room to discuss the apocalypse, especially the one's getting attacked. It'd be helpful if there was some kind of intro to explain their participation. Maybe a radio or TV broadcast pointing to an emergency website? Not very likely either I know, but it'd be something to at least frame the conversation.

Very nice...always love the trade chat. And will forever him "He of the Questionable Toupee" from this day forth. Whats the timetable looking like for new chapters of this book? I know you have Lewd Dungeon as well but this just really hits the spot. Either way, keep on keeping on.
