Wild Hunt
It was Nieven 1 by the Elven calendar, or Primo 1 if one used the Human one. The far-off dwarves would say that it was Ingotjaw 1, but there were so few of them in Lithaes (and even fewer of them were free) that no one really took the dwarven calendar into account. Either way, by the calendar, it was the first day of spring in the Wyrmwood, and that meant it was Tāmāde!
Tāmāde was a holy day in the Church of Darkmore, the Living God who reigned over Lithaes Village and the Aria of the Twilight guild. In the four years since the fall of the Theocracy of Ograin, the worship of the Chainmaker had spread, and, with it, new festivals and holy days were added as the church got its footing. Tāmāde was a word that, if one was to translate it from one of the languages used in the world of the Travelers, would (loosely) translate to ‘outdoor fucking’. Yes, it was the first of Primo, the first of Nieven, and Tāmāde started today.
Of course, Tāmāde was not celebrated everywhere in the world, or even everywhere in the Wyrmwood. Some people, mostly those in more prudish cultures, found the whole idea of it disturbing and offensive. In Lithaes, however, it was common practice. While it was true that one was free to practice any religion they wished in Lithaes without discrimination, when an actual god makes his terrestrial home in your back yard, you’re going to see a lot of the people who might not be all that firm in their belief to other gods switching sides. The fact that Lithaes recognized the Church of Darkmore as the official religion of the territory, and arranged official functions around it, only encouraged its growth in this area.
It should be noted that the public display of affection or companionship was not frowned upon in Lithaes, at any time of the year. The libertine Arians had spread their general lack of taboos when it came to sex (save only for those who were under the age of consent) to the rest of Lithaes. In truth, their ways were starting to spread elsewhere, as well, both in the normally more conservative elven lands, and in the human kingdoms, as well. The drow lands, which Lithaes pioneered trade with, had always been more… accepting of things, so there was no real change there.
So, while people engaging in carnal acts in public wasn’t unheard of in Lithaes, during Tāmāde that expanded into what was essentially a ‘free use’ or ‘consensual rape’ kind of system. On Tāmāde, one could go up to any free person who was participating in the holy day and do whatever you wished to, or with, them. You couldn’t trespass on private property, but otherwise wherever you went, you could find someone for a bit of ‘fun’. The ‘no trespass’ thing is also why slaves were exempt from Tāmāde unless their owner allowed it.
Those participating in the carnal celebration typically wore a simple linen dress for women, and a kilt for men, if they wore anything at all. Of course, the participants of Tāmāde weren’t exactly volunteers. They were nominated by the community of believers and chosen by lottery the week before. This allowed those who might not have been keen on joining to make preparations so they could remain inside their homes on Tāmāde. Once selected, the symbol of Darkmore appeared on the participant’s forehead. The symbol would not fade until sunset of Tāmāde, but only if they participated. Otherwise, the mark would endure for another year, automatically making them a participant for the next Tāmāde, and conveying a small debuff that lasted until it was removed. Only health concerns or being ordered by their liege excused one from participation.
All of which explained why Lexichan do’Urden, drow ranger and vice-leader of the Aria of the Twilight guild, without a doubt one of the most powerful people in Lithaes, was sweating. She knew exactly how her name had gotten into the lottery. Normally, no one would be so foolish as to try and put her name in there, but her lover, Ruva, had thought it a wonderful prank. When Lexichan found out, she had thoroughly tanned the medusa’s scaly backside, but Ruva just moaned like she was enjoying it. Probably was, the slut!
Lexichan shook her head as she hid in the few shadows cast in the midday sun. She’d left the house early, so little Rina and Riva, their children, wouldn’t wake up. The fact that a female drow and a female medusa had a pair of children the same age, and that each had carried one of the kids, was another crazy set of circumstances altogether, that she firmly blamed Zayn for. Sadly, that was one of the milder adventures he had gotten up to in the old days.
Unlike other areas where the Church of Darkmore celebrated Tāmāde, where certain areas would be set aside for the exhibitionists, because Lithaes was so firmly entwined with the Church, the area for Tāmāde was the entire lands of Lithaes itself, including the surrounding countryside. This had the effect of sometimes turning the celebration from a public orgy to a ‘hunt’. After all, one was counted as participating if they were in the appropriate area during the time, and did not beat off anyone who caught them. So, if she could spend the day hidden in the forest without being discovered, then the damn mark would leave her, and she’d be safe. And she could focus on how to properly punish Ruva for this.
“And what might a drow be doing hiding out in the forest during the day, hmm?”
Lexichan cursed under her breath as she heard that voice whisper in her ear. Without thinking, she broke from her cover, abandoning stealth for all the speed that a ranger could manage going through the wilds. She didn’t bother looking back at where the man must have been. She didn’t need to see him to know who it was. She knew that voice.
She saw the trap in time to leap over it, but she did not notice the rogue who, literally, leapt up out of her own shadow to grab Lexichan by the ankles and cause her to fall to the ground. Damn it! He wasn’t even hunting alone, but had brought his harem to play, too!
Still, she knew when she was caught. She could have managed to get away from any one of them, maybe two, but the whole group, working together? There was no chance. Especially since one of them was an actual divine avatar. So, she didn’t resist when she felt the rogue tying her feet together, or binding her hands behind her back. She could have escaped the bindings (they weren’t that tight), but that would cause more trouble than it was worth.
“Ah, Lexichan, I can’t tell you how happy I was to see your name pulled when the lottery happened.”
Lexichan sighed, and turned awkwardly to look at the man from her bound and kneeling position. “Zayn. Why am I not surprised that you are out here, hunting, instead of enjoying all the ladies in town? So, I don’t suppose I could convince you to just let it be one and done, and let me go for the rest of the day?”
Zayn Darkmore, Lord of Lithaes, Knight of the Wyrmwood, Owner of the Slave-Queen of Ograin, consort to several dieties, and an actual god in his own right, laughed at her half-hearted attempt at getting out of this. “Oh, no. Though don’t worry, I’m not going to take you back to town. It will just be you, me, Severa, Yukiko, Nithroel, Kylana, and Della. Until sunset.”
Lexichan groaned at Zayn’s words. Damn, this was going to be a long day! She heard the rustling of clothes, and felt soft hands pulling her dress up, exposing her ebony backside to the world. That must be Della, she always had softer hands, being a Priestess and Sorceress. The sound of feathered wings shifting could be heard a moment before someone’s warm breath, followed by their warmer tongue, made contact with her exposed nethers. Oh, god, it seemed Nithroel was going to be in charge of foreplay!
“Don’t forget about me, Lexichan. Master promised me a reward for being the one to catch you.”
She opened her eyes, looking forward where she heard Severa’s voice, and was presented with a clear view of the shadowy rogue’s grey-hued pussy lips, just inches in front of her face. She allowed the rogue to guide her head forward, and plunged into her depths. Was there a hint of strawberries? The rogue had prepared for this! Well, at least it wasn’t all bad. Suddenly, Nithroel’s tongue left her, and she felt the angelic woman moving aside. She couldn’t look to see what was happening, what with the moaning Severa keeping her head firmly in place between the rogue’s thighs, but she had an idea what was about to happen. Honestly, from the moment she was caught, she knew it would happen. Yeah, I live in Georgia (USA). Highs of 90+F and lows of 60+F. (So, about 18.9C lows to 32.8C highs.) It has been nice and cool lately.

I guess the other thing i might say is the climate around Lithaes is much warmer then where i am May 1 this year we had 7 °C high and -2 °C low not the weather you want for this activity.
