SEUS is the Best as it uses Pathtracing, great post processing effects, and loving care to the Skies, Water, and Atmosphere! RTX bedrock is very unrefined to say the least! I want SEUS PTGI to live on!!!

If you dislike what he's doing so much just unsub, or better yet start making your own shaderpack/mod to compete against him, instead of leaving such useless messages that does nothing.

people quickly forget, I'm not a haters, but with so much money being generated he could easily have hired a community manager to keep people informed. instead of all that we were put on the side with news every 6 months and increasingly rare updates. There are companies with the 1/4 of the budget that they made with a few employees to make full independent games that would dream of the money Sonic is making. I have the impression that he was left alone in the development (a problem he could solve), he can't even respond to the comment of his rare post, jeez. that's the lesser of it. He will not respond to my comment or yours and we will never know where to inject this mountain of money for a project that ended up slowing down because he probably did not want to share the money generated with a team. In short, I find this kind of behavior deplorable and should not be encouraged. Now he is offering his shader for free to "buy" the peace because he can give up the shader without regret.

Hey sonic ether, I just saw that latest post of yours in patreon and I read it late, but Imma just leave a message here. If you ever see this message and decide on , lemme just say that when I came back to minecraft, there are 2 reasons. Umsoea and this shader creator called SEUS. back in may 2020, umsoea posted some showcase of his textures with your shaders which just gives an ultra realistic appearance. Everyone came back to minecraft for you know, pewdiepie, dream, basically the renaissance of minecraft. But I came back because I thought about playing minecraft in a realistic way when I saw that video from umsoea, thats what I decided to build my first modern house. Yeah its the wiederdude tutorial thing but still, using your SEUS RENEWED for the first time with that house man, I never knew minecraft can be that realistic. And after that, I just built more modern houses but this time showcasing it with your beloved SEUS PTGI. But the thing is though I am on a GTX 1080 and I play it on 30fps with custom textures on LOL, 60fps but no textures which id take the realistic textures for realism. All I can say is that if I had some reasons on how I coped up with boredom during the pandemic last year, Imma just say thanks to you man, to Hodilton, to ultimate immersion and to Umsoea, I heard Umsoea was gonna stop doing his thing though, that is sad but it's his life and I will fully respect his decision. Let me just say that if you decide on things, do it for yourself because it's your life and stuff you know, I care about your mental health because you satisfied me so many times with your shaders and when i'm satisfied.. I am happy and know that they know how to shock people into making minecraft look real... Idk but the effect of UI, Umsoea, Hodilton and you to my life in satisfaction lead me to creating a youtube channel.. showcasing minecraft realism like. I can empathize a lot with what you've said here. One of the toughest things ever is to stick with a project that might last for years or be "the guy that knows this one thing really well." No one wants to be pigeonholed. I'm glad you're making changes that are healthier for your creativity!

Personally I agree with the decision to make all downloads public, but maybe releasing more experimental builds or exclusive access to dev news or even just polls to patrons so there is a reason for people to stay kind of but and people who aren't paying aren't losing out on much.

I personally would say you should keep the release version public and maybe release the beta tests you make to patreon. I think many people enjoy testing stuff before it goes live and you could get feedback from a lot of users

I always feel like the Minecraft community is terrible when it comes to patience (optifine 1.15 broke everyone lol). Just know that the only reason someone would be impatient about the development of something you made is because it's amazing :)

Funny that you mention it, the shader I've worked on most recently is somewhat of a screen-space shadows thingy. It's still very rough but I'll probably share more on that soon :)

I will stay a member So I can see what you are working on and give you the support (even if small with me on Stone). Also on the note of the future projects. You did mention Reshade shaders, mayhaps a proper Screen-Space Shadow shader or something of the sorts? Either that or your own take on Pascal Glitcher's/Marty McFly's SSRTGI shader. But a Screen-Space Shadow shader would be something nice I say as nothing really has been done for it, and I feel it could work somewhat similarly to how SSRTGI works with it interpreting brightness/emmisiveness to determine if light should be generated, but this being if a shadow should be cast. (The direction of the shadow being either user-defined or auto-defined like SSRTGI)

Keep on keeping on man, can't wait to see what you share with us whether it is minecraft related, other shades, music or projects of yours that you think are cool!

I'll keep being a member, personally, It might be advantages if it was just 5$ to buy whatever update you make. Rather then a subscription, that way you keep that income flowing without a pressure to perform on a daily basis, but you may have already thought that through and saw some flaw in that plan.
