no matter what i download any load order or version of the game i choose its just crashing when i load a sandbox no campaign mode availible for me

As far as i know, all diplomacy related things are from other mods.

There is no real Phalanx formation per se. If you use units with pikes though they should form it by themselfs.

Yes we wanted to include it in this version, but we came across some issues so it had to be delayed till the next patch unfortunately.
