Some personal stuff, for those interested (TW: mental health, neurodiversity):
Soooo, the past weeks have been quite tense!
Got a lot of stress atm, cause as you know, I went full self-employed again (also with the stuff I do here) and let me tell you something: when you have ADHD & went through depression and still have to deal with the aftermath even 1 year after finishing therapy, it's fckn hard ๐
I'm still on medication though, gladly I must say, but it's frustrating to see how decreased my energy-level is after this. Or well, maybe that was my energy-level ALL THE TIME but I just learned to push through way too much, till - well, a breakdown that sent me into a break in life for a whole year, where I could do nothing at all but exist and slowly build myself up again anew.
I haven't shared that on any social media by now, but hey, I'm in the mood AND, most important:
Mental issues = body issues. When you got a broken leg, everyone can see it, understand what that means and that you have to take time off. With mental things it's often so tainted with "taboos", you don't talk about that stuff oooor it's "just a trend".
I think in our little nichรฉ of the internet a lot of neurodivergent people gather & find mutuals and understanding from others, so it was kind of...a wish from me to share that little part of my life with you.
Maybe to also give you an explanation why sometimes I am super invested and fast - and other times really slow and unresponsive ๐ Trust me, that's not by choice, haha. I really love what I do and I am so, so thankful & happy that you enable me to do so - but despite wanting to work so much more for this, all my ideas and so on, it's my energy-level & dopamin that holds me back. Till the next wave of power comes. A bit difficult when you have to keep a subscription service running ๐ฌ
And it's also to say, if you're struggling or living with mental health issues, your own neurodiversity, you're not alone. Often it's also the person on the other side of the screen and they want to say: I get you, I see you ๐ We're getting through this!
Wow, now that got a little longer than anticipated, but hey. I'm in the mood for that little private chat ๐ And please, don't take that as "Chrys has the feeling they have to share this as an excuse" - I am very careful with what I share and if I do, it's most likely not to only talk about myself but to give people who see it the possibility to mirror themselves in that, to see they're not alone. ๐ค

I know it can take strength to open up and talk about things like this since you can never be sure if people use it against you.
