Amazing News! Steam will give you back those stolen mods!
🕑 Added 2022-06-16 05:26:29 +0000 UTCIf you updated RE2 and RE3 with those new updates, then you will have discovered some unpleasant things:
- Game performance sucks
- DX12 sucks most of the time
- Ray tracing is rubbish.
- Not even a proper DLSS was added, only a shitty FSR 1.0
- And the most important thing, practically no mod works!
Well, Capcom and Steam have received all the wrath they deserved for this nonsense and have decided to reconsider, giving us support to go back to the previous version!
So you no longer have to follow those difficult tutorials to undo updates. Just follow these simple instructions to return to the version that makes you happy, which brings you back to the wonderful world of Grogu-Land xD

If you haven't updated your games yet, you don't need to do it anymore. Just follow that easy tutorial and those updates won't bother you anymore! ;D

What a magnificent analysis about this whole situation you just did bro. Capcom made a terrible move here, but luckily they were backed down by the RE Steam community. They will never try something like that again!
This update was a big fail from capcom. None of this additions works well and DirectX 12 sttuters like hell with Nvidia cards, even with my RTX. Plus, they changed the graphic engine so each modder need to rebuild their mods one by one again right from the start just to work properly. The game works well already and looks beautiful with reshades, no need to have ray traced reflexions or global illumination. Why just don't they leave it that way?. What a waste of time for us, updating this fooliness. Sorry for writing too much my friend 👍.
