For reconciling being queer with your religion, as difficult as this sounds, in my experience you really have to take the cultural attitudes / expectations / ideas out of the equation and figure out what works for you. No one on Earth can follow all the supposed “rules” of a religion to a T because many are still hotly debated to this day, or arose from misinterpretations or manipulation over the years. You have to look inward - it’s super uncomfy and personal, but the only way to really reach a satisfying conclusion in this circumstance is to figure out what works for you and makes you happy. It’s YOUR faith, not anybody else’s. Thats’s just my take though - there’s no easy answer unfortunately, it just depends too much from person to person
