Megumin thought she might have seen Kazuma clawing for the surface, bubbles racing up as he was dragged down by the overweight sea cow, but the young mage could only grin and shake her head.
If they were going to kill each other, Aqua and Kazuma probably would have done it by now. Unless it was by accident, Kazuma would more than likely be fine.
A bit waterlogged, but fine.
Another wave of the washing tide rolled over Megumin’s waist, and the crimson demon looked down at herself before blushing and hugging her arms across her chest, swaying back and forth.
There was fat on her chest. There was a curve to her hips. There was shape to her body.
Megumin had boobs!
She could hardly believe it, wouldn’t be able to if she weren’t so soft and so squishy. A figure of perfection, Megumin could grab handfuls of herself! No more jokes about being the world’s loudest washboard, no more digs at her chest’s expense! Megumin had breasts! Boobies! Giant, honking, tits that made her back ache!
She was practically drooling over herself, squeezing her breast in one hand while the other supported her bodacious girls. Around her, Wiz and Darkness were slowly bobbing up and down, fat pale tummies breaching the water as if to were forming islands of flab, giving Megumin the most hideous of pleasures.
A drop-dead beauty surrounded by overweight whales. The skinny girl, hanging out with multiple fatasses, and looking all the better for it! Megumin could just pinch herself.
This Hog disease would be a dream come true, if only she didn’t have to worry so much about eating.
A horrible noise snapped her to attention, and she turned on one of the cream-colored islands. It was twisting and turning, a purple and gold swimsuit rising through the waves followed by flailing pale hands. Wiz was struggling to get her feet under her, her chubby face breaching the water with a shouted yelp of, “Aieee!! It’s blessed!”
Megumin blinked at her as the overweight woman got to her feet and immediately spilled back down to her waist, nearly collapsing as she tried to splash back to the shoreline.
“The water’s blessed!” the brunette woman spluttered, her weighty arms jiggling as fought for the shore.
Megumin snorted, only noticing then that Wiz was actively swimming away from where Aqua had splashed down. The apple-shaped lich finally found her feet, waddling from side to side and tugging her bottoms back up to her waist while her husky breath cursed all things holy and divine.
The busty mage moved to the larger island then, a tummy that lifted up to Megumin’s chin. She chuckled at the small pool that filled Darkness’ belly button, poking at the remnants of orange thread that could only just cover her hips.
The small prodding slowly turned the obese blonde crusader, revealing her barely restrained chest and her soaping blonde hair. Darkness was so covered with blubber that the woman had no neck, simply a fatty double-chin that tucked into her humongous breasts.
Darkness’ lips were pulled into a deep frown, her large blue eyes extremely ill-amused. She glanced up into Megumin’s face before her eyes returned to stare up into the sky.
“You okay?” Megumin asked.
“I… am fine,” Darkness heavily responded.
“Do you need help getting up?”
A long sigh deflated Darkness’ middle like an overblown balloon, but another inward breath brought her right back up. “Probably,” she mumbled.
The two stood there for some time before Darkness spoke up.
“I don’t think I’d be even allowed the dignity of drowning.”
Megumin looked her over. “Are you trying to sink?”
“Desperately,” came Darkness’ flat reply.
A large wave carried her up another few inches, so that for a moment her waist reached as high as Megumi’s eyes. Megumin steadied herself on Darkness’ gut, gently amused by the crusader’s glare at her overblown body as she settled back down.
“You’re too fat to sink,” Megumin replied.
“I noticed,” Darkness growled.
Megumin felt bad for her friend, but she did so in the way that she felt for Chomusuke when the dumb kitten bit herself on the tail. All she could do was shrug and grin before saying, “Come on, let’s get you up. Did you pack a swimsuit?”
Darkness groaned, waggling her hammy arms. “This dress was the largest garment I owned…” she referred to the ragged clothing. “I only just had it upsized two days ago…”
Megumin sighed, putting one hand on her hip. “We’re cursed, goofy. Ten times the calories, remember?”
“We’re ill,” Darkness blushed, still grumpily pouting “not cursed…”
The mage waved a hand at her friend before saying, “Whatever! Sickness or cursed, everything we eat is worth ten times as much, and you girls keep eating more! It’s your own fault that you got so fat!”
Darkness’ baggy arms quivered as she slowly rocked herself, and the great wide tummy began to dip forward. A large roll of fat pinched down near her expanded waist, hiding her navel while she spun to her feet. “I-it’s not as if we can ignore our… inner desires! I’ve always had a warrior’s appetite!” she blustered.
Megumin gave her a challenging smirk. “Oh yeah. Cream pies, cookies, and ice cream. You’re a real warrior.”
Standing up straight, Darkness’ body showed each and every pound, every sugary calorie and sweetened dessert. Her bisected belly looked like a fluffy wet pastry, her arms hanging awkwardly with fat-packed biceps. But the blush on her face, the awkward shuffle, even with a belly that hung to her knees Darkness was still finding pleasure in torture.
“I-it’s not as if this is en-en-enticing!” she blustered, churning the water with her low hanging belly. “Feeling this ever-present weight destroying all of my clothing… constantly assailed by my own compatriots!”
“You got us all infected, you fat hog.”
“Gyaaah!” Darkness winced, hands stretching as far down her center as she could reach and lifting her stomach before letting it drop. It made a powerful impact as it slapped against the waves.
Megumin would have pushed her over if she thought for a moment that Darkness would be able stand back up.
“Megumin!!” a call from behind saved the young mage from secondhand embarrassment as Darkness shamelessly began to wheeze. She turned back to the portly Wiz, hands held up to her mouth as the necromancer called, “Where is Lady Aqua?”
“Riiiiight he- agh! Darkness, get the hell out of the way!”
Megumin looked over her shoulder as Darkness screamed and toppled down on her belly, sinking beneath the tide and revealing the overblown Aqua.
The Goddess’s was up to her waist in the water, which explained why the shadow beneath looked twice as large. Her tummy and thighs were mostly hidden, while Aqua’s bright eyes glimmered from beneath her perfectly dry hair. “Did somebody call for me?” she said sweetly poking a finger into her chubby cheek.
Darkness’ backside resurfaced along with a few dozen overweight bubbles.
“Oh great, you didn’t actually drown him did you?” Megumin asked.
“Drown him??” Aqua replied, tilting her head. Then her face lit up. “Are you kidding?! Do you know how long I’ve been waiting to get him into the water?!”
Megumin cocked an eyebrow. “So, what’d you do with him?” she asked.
Aqua’s finger trailed to her double chin, the goddess giving a devilish grin as she sauntered back and forth in the way that only a girl her size could do. Her love handles lifted above the water, followed by her mattress-sized hips and her waddling thighs. She looked completely dry, save for several red stains from her cherry popsicles. Several more than she’d had when she’d first gone under.
With a wink and a hush, the water Goddess whispered, “I sat on him.”
“Oh, no…” Megumin groaned, “you did kill him…”
Aqua’s giggle quickly turned into a snort, a delightfully porcine laugh that came from her belly. “Nope! Even better!” she grinned and lifted her hand.
With a snap of her fingers, Kazuma was catapulted from another twenty feet out. The adventurer was lifted into the air, twirling head over heels before he remembered he could scream, and landed upside down against the sand dune.
Wiz tucked in her elbows, her belly hopping up and down as she hurried like an overweight princess to Kazuma’s side.
Megumin turned back to Aqua, who was laughing delightfully into her hand. “I’ve been waiting four years to do that,” she wiggled her hips. “Remind me to thank Darkness, you should have heard that NEET burble in surprise.”
Megumin looked past her, to the slightly turning mound of flesh, and wondered if Darkness had found the way to drown that she wanted.
“Hopefully,” Aqua went on, “that’ll be a lesson he doesn’t forget!”

“What do you mean?! They’re the Sea Oxen of Baustria! We’re near Baustria, aren’t we?!” Kazuma hollered.
Wiz winced behind her tome. “W-we’ve been in Baustria for hours!” she protested. “I don’t know where the animals live!”
“I thought you were the expert! What kind of mage doesn’t know where to get her potions!!”
Megumin held up her hand. “I don’t even make potions.”
Kazuma turned, his pointed finger crackling like lightening as he shouted, “Not you, you damn washboa-” he faltered, his eyes going wide as Megumin’s heart soared into the sky.
The mage’s crimson eyes glimmered with explosive intent, a demonic smirk making her feel ten feet tall as she lifted a hand to her breast and squeezed with a powerful, impish cackle.
Kazuma recoiled, blown back by the force a bombshell, falling past the seat and onto his overweight backside.
“And you blame me for trying to kill him,” Aqua snorted.
Once they managed to dig Kazuma out of the sand dune and Darkness away from her much-sought watery grave, the party had quickly established a small sitting area for themselves on the beach.
Wiz had done most of the work while Megumin and Aqua lugged Darkness out by her cankles, using her magic to gather supplies from the wagon, as well as assembling a couple of seats out of some driftwood and dead logs.
Darkness wasn’t allowed to sit on them, for fear of collapse, and Aqua’s fat ass took up nearly an entire bench for herself, so the fattest members of the party sat together, Aqua on the seat and Darkness down on the sand near her feet.
Both of the hogs were eating more cherry ice cream.
Megumin rolled her eyes, stuck out her tongue, and tried to desperately ignore the hollow feeling inside of her own tummy.
Wiz cleared her throat. She placed her book onto her seat and shuffled to stand. Crossing both hands over her abundant middle. “As things now stand, perhaps it’s better that we make this our camp for the day? I can search through my texts for more specific information.”
“We can’t make camp,” Kazuma said, still lying on his back. A loud belly squelched preceded, “We don’t have any food!”
“Maybe you don’t,” Aqua chomped onto her popsicle, a dribble of red coasting down her chin before dropping onto her bright blue bikini.
Megumin rolled her eyes, scowling at the bell-shaped Goddess. “All you’ve packed is desserts!” she complained over the ache in her tummy.
“So?” Aqua perched an eyebrow. “It’s more than you brought!”
“We need something that’s an actual meal,” Megumin stood from her seat. “At ten times the calories, we should be getting ten times the nutrients.”
“That’s not necessarily true…” Wiz sighed. Her sugar-white fingers tapped on her sugar-filled tummy. “Hog Heaven is making severe and rapid alterations to our bodies. It’s been less than a month, and we’re all… well, becoming… rounder…” she was hesitating, as if trying exceptionally hard not to call herself fat. “But if we were getting ten times the nutrients, there’d be even more… drastic changes…”
Darkness sighed, and immense pout on her face as she stared at her popsicle. “Such foul creation. I have never enjoyed something so terrible as this frozen dessert.”
“I find that hard to believe,” Aqua replied.
Darkness blushed but stuck the popsicle back into her mouth and said no more.
Wiz scratched her tummy, more speaking to herself than to anyone in particular. “If we were processing ten times the nutrients, we’d likely feel as if we have more energy. Instead… well, if we’re being open, I feel the inclination to lie down for a nap…”
A tremendous sigh escaped from each member as someone had finally addressed what everyone needed. They’d been run ragged for nearly a month, every meal adding more and more weight to their frames. Darkness, somehow, made just sitting with a popsicle look like it was tiring, and Aqua’s laziness had only increased in these weeks, but the party at large had become simply exhausted.
Megumin sagged back onto the tree trunk. She picked up her staff, digging it into the sand as her tummy whined. “We need food,” she mumbled. “Something lean and low in calories.”
“We can’t set up for the night if we don’t have anything to eat,” Kazuma agreed.
Hollow and stuffed tummies alike, each of the party in that moment felt famished.
“We are near the ocean,” Wiz frowned, looking to the sea. “There must be some sort of fish, yes?”
There were, indeed, fish in the sea, but four lethargic hogs and one starving belle were not well equipped for an aquatic harvest.
“What about that town?” Megumin asked. “They’ve got to have a market.”
“Oh!” Wiz brightened. “They might also know more about the Sea Oxen!”
“Ughhh, who cares about that crappy little village,” Aqua leaned back, her tummy rolling down her flab-covered thighs. “I’ve got enough desserts to last me a week!” she said in a tone that decreed they wouldn’t last through the hour.
Kazuma lifted himself up to his seat. “If they have a market, then they’ll have real food. Meat, like chicken or pork.”
There was an answer of rumbles, hungry and wanting, but Kazuma was glaring at directly at Aqua’s gut, wearing a snide leer.
“They might even have alcohol…” he tempted.
Through the soft chorus of rumbles, Aqua’s stomach roared. She was up in a flash, her hammy thighs slapping her tummy as she hopped to her feet. “Then what the hell are we waiting around here for?!” she demanded. “If we can’t finish today, we might as well get drunk!”
“A premature celebration,” Wiz tried to justify. “F-for our success tomorrow.”
“Ohhh…” Darkness sighed, patting her stomach. “One last indulgence. Tomorrow, I’ll be back to normal…”
Megumin froze.
As the party members began lifting themselves up, jiggling and bouncing with their fat-covered bodies, Megumin stared at Darkness’ stomach.
If they drank the tonic, would they be skinny again? T-that didn’t make any sense! They were too fat! They had torn through their clothes, flooded their bellies, smothered their muscles under layers of blubber! But Aqua was wiggling her hips and snorting with laughter, would she be enthused if she thought she’d still be so overweight?
Is that why they were eating so much, even now?! Darkness, grinning softly, nibbled on her popsicle while Aqua posed and produced a pair of oatmeal pies from behind her back. These girls had eaten themselves into obesity! They deserved to be fat!!
Very slowly, Megumin looked down at her girls. Her breasts, her pale boobies, her fat tits and curvy hips.
Love handles bounced, bellies jiggled, and overweight hogs laughed in good spirits while Megumin stared at her chest and whispered, “Oh no…”

I wouldn't be surprised if Megumin ends up being the biggest girls of all of them by the end. Wonder if the curse will reach a limit of outwards and shift to upwards instead?
