“Sooooooo... whatcha doing?”
Cassie looked up from her computer to see the bright grinning face of her co-worker, Ripley. She’d been typing up patient reports for the latest admittance all day and was not in the mood to be bothered. Especially by this happy-go-lucky newbie nitwit whose dumbass parents had named after a butch in a 70s horror flick.
She returned to her typing, asking in a deadpan voice, “What do you want, Ripley?”
The cheery redhead leaned over the counter, trying to peek at the green-stained monitor. “Are ya playing solitaire or something?”
“No.”
“Mine sweeper?”
“No.”
“I was always more of a Freecell girl myself.”
“That’s great to know.” Cassie sighed, reaching for another sugary blow pop from her purple container and sagging back on her seat. The roller chair cried as if it were being crushed by a whale... which, for all intents and purposes, the American woman could be mistaken.
To say Cassie was a big girl was sort of comparing the curves of the Moon to the swell of the Earth. While similarly shaped, you could probably fit multiple of one into the frame of the other, and she’d still have room to fill with a few extra desserts. It would desperately fail to capture the scope of just how big Cassie’s moon could be.
Her hips weren’t just curvy, they were audacious. She had to personally take off the armrests of every chair at the nursing station, just to save herself the squeeze. This was, however, proving to have only been a temporary fix. Steel screws were being crushed under the strain of her fat ass, and very recently one of the staff members that handled the employee uniforms was complaining that she’d need to start stitching two pairs of pants together just to cover Cassie’s cheeks.
She liked to blame her girlfriend, Grace, for her skyrocketing weight, but inside she knew the fact of the matter was that her own plan was just backfiring on her. Surrounding her tubby girlfriend with as much food as she could meant that she was also corrupted by sweets, and she hadn’t even been skinny to start with.
So, when her chair cried out beneath her excess blubber, Cassie felt a momentary fear that was sated only after she settled and the support didn’t snap. Unfortunately, not much could sate her hunger... nor her annoyance.
“Riplah, ‘or ‘eal,” she mumbled around her fat sucker, flexing her hands through her merlot colored hair to tighten her ponytail. She removed the lollipop, holding it casually. “I’m busy. Is there something you actually need?”
The redhead’s grin faltered. “Umm... sorry, kinda yeah.” She put her chart up on the counter, sliding it over. “Mrs. Orwell said she would like some help to go for a walk. To help with her lungs.”
Cassie pursed her lips. “So?”
“Well... ahhh, she said she didn’t want me to help, and told me... Ahh, ooof,” she was blushing. “Umm...”
Cassie waited.
“She asked me to get the, uhhh, ‘piggy-nurse.’” Ripley was cringing. “She said, and I’m quoting! Uhh, ‘she needs the exercise just as much as I do.’”
Cassie replaced the sucker in her mouth.
She couldn’t be sure, as she was trying not to let the blush get to her, but it felt like the hard candy might be quickly melting from the internalized boiling rage.
After a few moments thought, she asked, “And what makes you think that ‘the piggy nurse’ is referring to me?”
Ripley’s eyes went wide. The glance down at the rolling hills that made up Cassie’s thighs was impossible to miss. “W-well, umm... it’s cause... uhh.... you’re the... uhh...”
The sucker very loudly snapped as Cassie’s teeth cracked it open. She hadn’t even really tasted the grape flavor until a stream of sweetened sugar trickled down her throat, the chewy gum breaking free of the container and her teeth begun mashing, breaking up the rest.
“Well, you’re sort of... you know... ummm...”
“Do I look as fat as a ‘piggy,’ Newbie?”
“W-well, no. You’re bigger than a pig.”
Cassie reached for another sucker and tossed it at Ripley.
The young lady screamed, shielding her face. “P-pigs are only like four feet long! Of course you’re bigger!!”
Cassie rose up out of her smooshed chair, the heat in her cheeks causing her to miss the loud cry of relief. “You go tell Mrs. Orwell that you’ve no idea what nurse she’s talking about!” the piggy-nurse demanded, throwing another sucker.
Ripley yelped as the sucker struck the small of her back while she rushed down the stark white hall and away from the station.
Cassie hadn’t realized she’d swallowed her gum but felt immensely more irritated when she realized it was gone. She snatched another sucker from her cup and ripped the wrapper off. “Frikin’ boomer woman,” she mumbled, referring to Mrs. Orwell. “Has no idea what she’s talking about. I’m not even that fat.”
Her chair, which had been praising the lord of all seats for lifting its burden, was suddenly cast into horror as the shadow descended upon its unseeing face. It cried in forsaken pain before the support pillar snapped cleanly in two and Cassie was sent with a tumbling scream down to the ground.
It was lucky that she had so much padding to fall on.

Cassie was not a happy girl.
She believed that pretending the world wasn’t a miserable and awful place would make women that were just lying to themselves. Society was just one crisis away from flinging itself at each other over the last bag of toilet paper, and Cassie saw that edge every day. People are idiots, men are morons, women are in denial, and it felt like everyone at some point in their life ends up in the ER with a bottle of shampoo stuck where it shouldn’t be.
She didn’t have the time, nor anywhere near the money, to stop and ‘sniff the roses.’ Which was a shame, because Cassie loved the scent of roses almost as much as she now hated walking. But a girl doesn’t get hips the size that Cassie has without being more than a little… indulgent.
The food at the hospital was uncommonly good. The Grand Vivid Memorial Hospital had a budget that was nearly as bloated as Cassie was, which was as much to her benefit as it was to her curse. She sidled sideways along the cafeteria line, scooping a wrapped BLT sub sandwich as well as scooping a load of tater tots onto her tray, thinking about how food really was the greatest grace in life.
Besides her Grace, of course.
If Grace were here… Cassie smirked to herself, picturing her tubby girlfriend pressed up against the sneeze guard to look up close at each and every offered dish. She’d be losing her mind, preparing a plate full of mashed potatoes and decorating it with gravy and biscuits. She’d go for the pork chops for sure, maple glazed and shining with juice, and would probably help herself to an entire pot of the broccoli and cheese soup. Then there were entrees…
Today had the choice of Italian beef, piles of meat soaking in hot au jus. Grace loved her sandwiches to be as wet as they were thick, so that they were nearly falling apart in her grubby paws by the time she finished chomping through. The meat was in a tray beneath a heavy stack of wrapped Bosco sticks, cheese filled dough that smelled so lovely it made Cassie’s belly rumble, a noise that the fat girl convinced herself had come from the mental projection of her girlfriend.
Oh, and the garlic bread. Grace loved garlic bread. Just the scent of the steaming dough made her perk up and fluff outward with a delighted moan of satisfaction, her tongue lulling out and filled with desire.
Just the mental imagery was filling Cassie’s own pits of desire, so much that she hardly noticed herself snagging each of the things she wished to fill her girlfriend with until she picked her tray off the counter and found she could hardly carry it.
Cassie’s tater tots were practically buried beneath the pile. Two packs of three bosco sticks, two fat cups of marinara, a soaking wet Italian beef sandwich, another plate of mashed potatoes that dribbled with gravy and melting butter buried by a tower of garlic bread. There was hardly enough room for her original BLT.
She blinked downward several times at her tray, gazing with wide eyes at the fruits of her hunger. She looked back along the line and noticed several other staff members doing their best to appear as if they hadn’t noticed her…
Feeling a brightening heat in her tan cheeks, Cassie strained to lift her tray and take it away to her usual spot.
The cafeteria was always packed with people, but was especially crowded during lunch hours. The area had been decorated with fresh spring colors, happy greens and pinks for the upcoming season. A handful of booths was set against a long stripe where a botanical garden separated the section from the main hall.
Cassie waddled into the section, doing her best to pick a clear path through the crowd. She knew from experience that her hips were large enough that passing between two occupied tables was much more bothersome than it was worth.
Inwardly, she pictured her little maneuver as a sort of ballerina’s dance. A skillful pirouette here, another twist there, and she’d pass through without anyone touching her gracious backside.
In truth, it was more like watching a semi navigate through small-town traffic, with a hungry, rumbling tummy replacing the roar of the diesel engine. All who sat by as Cassie came trundling through were caught in the shadow of the woman’s rear. A couple of people noticed the semi rolling through the small suburban lanes, but those that instinctively ducked their heads missed seeing her.
These ignorant folks would go home to discover they’d developed a case of claustrophobic fear, as well as an inexplicable phobia of melons.
Cassie carefully made her way to an empty table near the window, at the furthest corner away from the television. She parked her tubby bottom on two red cushioned seats, one for each cheek, and placed her tray on the center of the table with a strained sigh.
Between the weight of the food and the concentration of her movement, the young woman was already feeling quite tired, and by the sound of a rumble in her tummy, was more than ready to fill her need for fresh calories.
She took her smartphone and headphones from one of her tight pockets and popped open the youtube app, flicking to a content creator that did audiobook readings of old stories before tuning into their reading of The Shadow over Innsmouth.
New England was a far-off way from Lucid Lake County, even farther still as Cassie’s tired eyes began to glaze over, and her taste took control.
All that mattered was that first soft bite into her wet beef sandwich. The audiobook, the cafeteria, the television, it all merged into the background while the flavor slid over her tongue with a first, bovine bite.
Cassie mumbled happily when the au jus soaked her mouth, the lovely taste of heavily salted beef spreading through her. For most girls, it’d have been a big bite, but for Cassie it was merely a mouthful. She went back quickly for a second and a third, ensuring her mouth was always actively occupied with shredding and swallowing.
Before the sandwich even settled, mashed potatoes were chasing it down, thumping solidly into her stomach along with the overdone helping of drizzling gravy. Her taste buds prickled amorously, feeling wonderfully indulged. She ate the potatoes slower, at a grazing pace, telling herself she was focusing on the story but not hearing a word.
Cassie loved food.
At first, her love for fatness had started as an outsider view. She was into bigger girls with wide, heavy tummies. She thought of them as marshmallow women, soft and cheerful and undeniably cute. And she’d adored feeding Grace, turning her overweight girlfriend into a super-sized softie.
What she hadn’t expected was how much she’d grow to enjoy feeding herself. It wasn’t supposed to be this way. Cassie was only supposed to be a hundred and fifty pounds. But she put away food like not many could, tucking into entrée after entrée, plate after plate. Something about Grace had changed her, transformed her, and now she waddled and wobbled everywhere she walked. And she loved it.
She relished feeling as she did, like she was carrying pillows attached to her legs and a watermelon around her waist. She adored the looks that Grace gave her fat hips, reveled in the attention and the pampering that was returned onto her.
And eating, right now, brought her back to that state. Warm, comfortable, filled with love and with delectable foods.
The bosco sticks were snapped up next, along with marinara dipped garlic bread. The doughy filling was slowly creating a sense of rising in the girl’s belly, and a subtle squish of herself allowed her to release a muffled moan of delight. Her pants were tight, too tight around her waist, so she adjusted herself briefly, unaware that her stomach now drooped beneath the hem of her top.
She crawled outward with each munch, every swallow tightening her stomach like a round bass drum. Above everything else, she heard and felt a delightful purr ripple from her belly before snipping open the end of her BLT sub.
It vanished into Cassie like a magic trick. There one moment, crumbs rolling down her cheeks at the next. An empty hand thunked against her tray before she really noticed that she had no more food left, followed shortly by a stab of disappointment.
How could she be done eating, when she felt like she could still have more?
Only when she leaned back did she feel the satisfied feeling of tightness in her tummy, and satisfaction on her tongue. She realized then that her breathing had sharpened and let loose a long solid puff before checking her phone.
‘1 unread message from Grace’ was highlighted in a banner at the top of the phone. She swiped down on it, revealing the full text.
‘You’re never going to believe this. I broke another chair today. The boss’ desk seat… I was sneaking an extra pack of chocolates while on break. You’ve made me such a bad girl~’
Cassie’s teeth were biting down on her lip, rereading the last line and feeling her chest thump loudly. She felt tired, her legs and arms ached for rest, but she was suddenly quite hot. She swiped down and clicked the reply. ‘Way to go ;3 but don’t go blaming me! I just helped you become the fat girl you were always meant to be <3’
She grinned sharply before thumbing the send button, and only then did she notice the time.
“Crap!” she hollered, standing up from her seat and knocking both chairs to the floor. She snatched up her tray and began hurrying like a startled sow toward the nearest station.
Time had passed much quicker than she’d believed, leaving her only five minutes to get back upstairs and clock back in. She thunked her tray into the service cart, nearly bowling over a small child in the process, deciding that she just might make it if she avoided the slow elevator and took the stairs instead.

Cassie huffed and puffed like the biggest little pig, angrily kicking a small pebble that sat on the sidewalk. “Docking my pay,” she scowled. “I was only ten minutes late. So unfair…”
She kicked at the rock again, missing this time, but deciding it wasn’t worth going back for. She wished that she had somewhere to tuck her hands into while she sulked, but her spring green dress had no pockets to spare. Even if it did, they’d likely provide little use.
Cassie’s dress clung to her as if it were a pencil thin skirt, being far outmatched by the width of her hips. It was slowly riding up on her, revealing the splotchy gray polka dots of her white panties while she wobbled along.
The sun was, thankfully, dipping. Spring finally felt like it had arrived in the city, with a nice pleasant breeze that added no wind to Cassie’s grouchy sails.
“Stupid auto-clock system. It’s not fair. The other girls get praised for taking boxed lunches, but I’m punished for using the cafeteria?” She tried to find a new rock to kick, but nothing presented itself. “And it’s not like the chair was my fault. Make something more stable, you know? Ugh.”
Her head drooped and she watched her own waggling tummy for a short while, bitterly cursing the slow elevators and much, much, much slower stairwell. How could a girl be reasonably expected to dash up three flights of stairs anymore? Wasn’t the point of all this technology to make life easier? No wonder the stairwell was empty. Nobody wanted to spend thirty minutes working out to get back work.
Speaking of working out, when had this walk started feeling so long? The darn hospital had to have a long stretch reserved entirely for itself inside of the business district. It was nice to work in somewhere so big, but walking to and from work was beginning to feel like she should be wearing a sports bra and her old work-out shorts.
The ones she hadn’t worn in… five years…
Cassie grimaced. Alright, so maybe it was her own fault. The smooth curve of her chest pinched into her short, heavy waist, before flowing outward into hips so shapely that her thighs warred for space. She found herself watching her own slow gait, heavy footfalls beneath legs that cycled over one another like rolling pins. Her mind flickered to the lotions she’d started applying, wondering if they were doing any good, or if she’d have another fine case of chub rub when she got home.
Yet she couldn’t stop her hands. Smoothing her dress downward, tugging it over her hips and letting her palms cup each side. Even to her own touch, she felt heavy, and it was doing something inside. Her breath came a little harsher, her chest a bit tighter, and her mind detached from her body.
Grace always looked at her with such wide, happy blue eyes. She’d brush her long black hair over her shoulder, staring openly at Cassie’s bell-bottom figure, and just smiled that heartwarming grin.
Thinking of her girlfriend got her through the few remaining blocks, and Cassie was pleasantly surprised to see those bright baby blues waiting for her.
Grace was… Well, Cassie was huge. Grace was on a whole nother level. She’d been fat before Cassie started feeding her. From then to now, the foodie had turned her feeder into a supersized lover, but it could hardly compare to what she’d done to herself.
Chubby cheeks were stretched in a bodacious beam while Grace’s body filled out the entirety of their front door frame. Her fat belly sagged in a full single gut, exposed to the world over her custom made XXXXL black sweatpants. Her shirt was a meek white tube-top that, while it could cover most women like a dress, didn’t even come to her deep belly button.
She raised a fatty arm, waggling it cheerfully, and in complete defiance of gravity’s immense hold. “Hey you!” she grinned, her arms falling over her chest while she cupped her hands in a delighted pose. “I was waiting for you.”
“I can see that,” Cassie felt a familiar smirk coming over her, looking at where Grace’s hips were squished against the frame.
In an act that might amaze physicists, Grace lifted a leg, hugging herself while she giggled. “So, you got any special plans for you chair breaking girlfriend?”
Cassie came closer, walking right up against and pressing into Grace’s body.
Warmth, softness, more than a bit of sloshing and weighty goodness spilled into Cassie’s gracious lap. Grace was so fat that hugging her was becoming difficult, but that only sharpened Cassie’s desire. She felt the heat moving into her face, a pink blush beneath her deep colored hair. “Actually,” she chuckled, “I’ve a funny story for you… But how does pizza sound tonight?”
With a mind that was perfectly in tune with its master, Grace’s tummy rumbled while she purred with delicious hunger. “Mhmmm. I could go for a couple. Especially if you’ll be working me out later tonight,” her teeth grazed over plump lips before leaning forward and kissing Cassie on the tip of her nose.
She made to pull away, but Cassie snagged her lover by the back of her head, pulling her down and squishing into her, lips locked together in a ravenous kiss. Their mouths worked, and Cassie felt the great weight rising as Grace was forced backward, fatty arms wavering for awkward balance before she smacked ass first against an interior wall.
She pushed up, lifting Grace’s belly with her own, desire filling her almost as much as her hunger.
Grace vibrated again, a noise loud enough to quiver the wall she was pressed to, and Cassie pulled a few inches back. Both girls smirked deliciously before dipping in for much softer kisses, and then pulling away.
“I’ll call for delivery,” Cassie whispered, rubbing her foodie’s tummy and gripping her handfuls of fat.
“Hurry up,” Grace replied. “The sooner you feed me, the sooner you get to take me to bed.”
Cassie felt herself grinning a rare, powerful smile.
