As I'm sure many of you will see, I had a lot of fun with the concept, and have actually decided to turn this into it's own little mini-series! There will be more to come in the future, so I hope you enjoy our first foray to the frontline in Dessert Warfare!

The field of battle is unpredictable.
A commander can sit back in their seat, open up a document, and plan their attack. They can account for the geography, the topography, the commonality of defensive tactics. They can plan around the weather, the time of day, even the day of the year. They can spend weeks or months planning the greatest military offensive of all time… but the plan will fall apart the moment they encounter the enemy and their intel.
Kaguya sat at the enemy’s desk. His laptop had been opened, his fingerprints dusted, his password obtained. She had spent the last two months slowly gaining the code letter by letter, a random string of sixteen case sensitive symbols to encrypt his deepest treasured secrets.
But she couldn’t have thought they’d be this.
Kaguya’s red eyes were the size of the sun, yet all warmth had faded into chilly ice. Hidden inside of Miyuki’s documents was a folder labeled ‘Homework,’ inside of which were numerous classes strung about another one, simply titled ‘Oblivion.’ It contained 604 internal folders, 33,971 files making up 171 GB of data. And it was all fat girls.
It didn’t make sense. Kagyua kept flicking to the next, to the next.
There were pudgy girls, chubby girls, fluffy girls, and then there were… behemoths. Girls that had more in relation to mammoths than they did humans. Over 300lbs easily, with some as large as nearly 500. They were cataloged, filed down into meticulous labels.
Kaguya felt her stomach squelch, seeing a woman with a mostly blurred face holding up an entire blender and chugging down the contents. She wore only two-piece crimson swimsuit, the bottoms stretched to contain her fat thighs and fatter belly. A soft roll of fat was pinched at her waist, with pale-red stretchmarks beneath her doughy arms and over her swollen gut.
She clicked to the next, then the next, unable to get the comparisons to her own swimsuit out of her head.
Kaguya clicked out of the pictures, out of the folder, out of the desktop. She tried to reset it perfectly before closing it and going to sit on the couch, unable to get that woman’s belly out of her head.
She’d intended to break into Miyuki’s laptop to find his porn. They were teenagers, and it was a personal computer. She had expected…
Kaguya swallowed. No matter what she had expected, it was not this.
She was okay with him having porn. He’d said before that it was a laptop he’s had since he was fifteen, so of course he’d have something like that. Hell, Kaguya had lustful pictures of men on her phone, and that was only locked behind a simple swipe pattern.
But this was something different. This was… Kaguya reeled, sitting up and draping her small, slender neck over the back of the couch. It was as if she’d been smacked on her toned stomach. She realized that there wasn’t a single instance of hardcore pornography that she’d witnessed. It was all just… chunky women. Eating, drinking, playing with their bodies, wiggling their hips, and stuffing their faces.
What did she do with this information? What had she gained?
She stood up, and for the first time, she looked at herself.
Kaguya Shinomiya was a beautiful young woman with long black hair that she tied up in a crimson bow. She had the fair white skin of a princess, with a slim build to match that air of royalty. The school uniform of black and white only highlighted the purity of her body, along with a red string around the collar to match her crimson bow and her bright red eyes.
Beneath her clothing, Kaguya had a body that was toned from her practice in Japanese archery. The extreme drag of the large bow meant she had to work hard just to keep it restrained, and doubly so to be as accurate as she was. Muscles were hidden inside her arms, but her middle was toned and her core, strong.
She was told that her personality was cold, even cruel. Her rich lineage and wealthy family put her in a position where she could look down on the world around her and call it dismissively cute.
But Kaguya was in love. To deny it to herself was foolish, and would place her at a tactical disadvantage against the man she wanted to love her first. She pictured him in the glass, looking back at her. Miyuki Shirogane’s lengthy blonde hair and sharp, tired blue eyes. The student council president, the man she was sure had feelings for her.
And he had a hand to his mouth, the other resting on his hip, looking all 90 pounds of Kaguya over and calling her “cute.”
The power of that dismissive smile, the weight of those all-seeing eyes, Kaguya could feel it. Swelling beneath her.
There is a side that exploits, and a side that’s exploited. One who’s devout, one receiving devotion. The winner, and the loser, in the war of love.
A thousand noble ancestors looked upon Kaguya, skinny and small, and turned up their noses. They looked upon her as Miyuki did, someone who would confess rather than win that confession. Her reflection was blushing, looking away from her eyes. She could see Miyuki holding up a pair of handcuffs, reaching behind her mirror’s back.
“No!” Kaguya shouted. She stepped forward and pointed at herself in the glass, brandishing a sharpened blade. “That is not how my story ends! I will never become some pathetic whelp!”
She tossed her dagger and it sank through the mirror, catching Miyuki in the leg. He let out a startled gasp and fell down to his knee, looking down at the blade.
When he looked up, he stared into Kaguya’s round waist. Her uniform was so tight that it showed her bellybutton, her thighs thick enough that they met in the center and looked in danger of smothering his head. Hundreds of pounds packed into a five-foot frame, Kaguya was now so wide that she looked like a boulder that would roll over him.
The reflection raised the back of her hand to her fat double chin and smiled. “How cute,” she chimed through the glass, lifting a chain that was attached to his neck like a worshipper’s collar.
Yes. Yes!
The boy bowed his head, confessing his attraction, confessing his lust for Kaguya’s body.
In war, the person who bows first is the one who loses. And there is no greater war than that of-
“Kaguya!!”
Kaguya shrieked, leaping two feet into the air and banging both of her knees against the cabinet. Her hands smacked the glass hard enough to send splinters throughout her fatty body before it cracked further and was lost from sight. The young, skinny girl toppled over backward, shouting in surprise and in pain, only for the air to vacate her lungs when she was caught in the soft chest of her friend.
“Oh my gosh!” Chika Fujiwara stumbled, holding Kaguya by the arms. She grunted before lifting her upright. “I’m sorry!” her floating voice filled the room like a smothering blanket. Kaguya turned on her, seeing the girl with pale-pink long hair sweating nervously in a different light, immediately taking in just how much bigger she was.
Chika was still small, but compared to Kaguya she was sort of a cow. She had a soft middle that was compounded by her easy-going and relaxed lifestyle, and a large pair of naturally gifted breasts that filled Kaguya with the most hideous of envy.
The soft girl sweated nervously, her knees knocking against each other while she fawned forward. She wore a black ribbon tied into a cutesy bow over her bangs, which somehow seemed to grow larger with her worried blue eyes. “You were just standing there pointing at yourself! I thought you… errmm… are you okay?”
“I’m fine, Chika,” Kaguya winced as the other girl took her hands.
The tiny black ribbon seemed to twist when the girl sprung with a gasp. “You’re bleeding!” she cried. “Oh no, no no. We’ll have to get you bandaged.”
Kaguya looked. A few small cuts had appeared on her palms. “I-it’s just a little cut. It’ll be…” A drop of blood rolled over her palm and dipped onto the red carpet, staining it.
“Nope! I am taking you to the nurse right now!” Chika broke in, taking Kaguya by her wrists and dragging her in a trundling lope from the room.
“Chika! Wait, there’s a first aid kit in the-”
The door swung shut behind her, closing them off from the room and all that was inside.
A short time passed before student council president Miyuki returned, yawning into his hand as he passed over the threshold. “I need to start drinking more coffee…” he muttered to himself. “Papa might be onto something. I’ll have to ask Ishigami if that might be able to work in my bud… get… ehhh?”
Miyuki stared at the splintered glass cabinet. Through a cracked spiderweb, he thought he had the faint impression of black hair and a fat red ribbon before the glass suddenly snapped inward and the pane completely collapsed.
He walked forward, spotting a small dark stain of blood on the carpet. “What the hell happened here?” he asked.
Nobody responded.

Within a week, Kaguya could tell that this problem was going to be much larger than she’d expected.
The girl could not eat to excess. Not for lack of trying! On the very morning first day, Kaguya had canceled all of her archery club activities, citing her wounded hands, and proceeded downstairs to shovel three pancakes into her mouth for breakfast. She’d even used butter, and syrup!
And then her lunch went entirely untouched… Which made things all the worse. Miyuki had even commented on her light appetite. Flashes of that pumpkin shaped woman in her red swimsuit covered Kaguya’s mind for the rest of the day, and she vowed she’d eat much more tomorrow.
Much more amounted to a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast and dish of prepared quarter-cut sandwiches for lunch. So, about four bites more than her usual amount. She was so irritated with herself that she didn’t even think to try something for dinner.
Examining her flat tummy and flatter chest in the mirror made her decide that she needed to change her plan of attack. Kaguya’s waistline was the most formidable enemy she had ever faced, and so she needed help to combat it.
She set her scarlet sights on Chika, approaching the easygoing girl after class and enlisting her aid. She explained her situation, which is to say she lied about everything, and enlisted Chika as her assistant. Under the guise of a renewed interest in foods and in baking, Kaguya proclaimed her intent to spend her time training in the kitchen with Chika at her elbow!
And it worked.
After a month, Kaguya had gained five pounds! She hopped off of the scale, cheerfully poking her middle and finding herself exceptionally pleased that her finger actually moved in somewhat. She didn’t feel hard, nor nearly as toned.
It was an excellent night, and she rewarded herself by not forcing herself to eat her nightly plate of cookies.
Across town, a pale-pink haired girl stared at her own scale over a swollen curve of doughy white fluff. Chika stepped off the scale in disbelief before plodding back atop of it and, seeing the ridiculous number, attempted one more time while trying to banish the rapidly increasing heart rate from her senses.
Chika put herself to bed that night with a fourth helping of cookies, as well as two very sad bowls of ice cream.
Time continued to pass, and Kaguya’s appetite continued to grow. The results grew exponentially. Eventually, the girl found that she could eat an entire package of potato chips in a single sitting. She found herself watching television that was centered on baking that she was beginning to really enjoy baking, with her favorites being the well decorated parfaits and crepes.
At last, after three months, Kaguya felt that the time had come. She was finally ready.

“You want to go to the beach?” Miyuki asked over the phone.
Kaguya shifted, leaning back on her fluffy couch. She lifted her legs and placed them onto the sitting room table, her watchful eyes glazing over as the chef stroked several layers of vanilla glaze over a factory line of donuts. She unconsciously rubbed her now pooching tummy before a cough in her ear returned her focus.
“Eh? Kaguya?”
“Erm, s-sorry. Yes, I think going to the beach would be…” she glanced down at herself and smiled. “I think it would be an exceptional boost to the morale of the council. Don’t you?”
“I suppose. Although, if I’m being honest, that means I’ll need to go out and get a new swimsuit. I haven’t gone since I was… 15?”
“I need one too,” Kaguya lied, having picked out a very special one the previous night. “I’ve… well, grown a lot recently,” she purred.
Miyuki coughed. He’d noticed. Of course he’d noticed, he couldn’t have possibly missed how fat Kaguya had become.
She sat now wearing a lovely tight black top and a pleasant red skirt over her full waist. There was a curve to her waist, an actual curve, and she felt like she was carrying a pair of watermelons attached to her chest. C cup breasts! She could still hardly believe it. At 180lbs, Kaguya felt like the fattest girl in Japan.
Which was incredibly narrowminded considering the butterball that sat next to her was drooling over the imagery on the television.
At over three hundred pounds, Chika had evidentially decided that the best way to solve her weight crisis was to lean into it, a lean that was growing heavier by the minute from the looks of her. Wearing a green tee shirt that couldn’t fit over her love handles, much less her huge gut, and a pair of white booty shorts that couldn’t be fastened, Chika looked to have more in common with the unbaked dough on the TV than she did with the pudgy girl at her side.
Chika was currently sagging into the couch in an increasingly familiar position, flat on her back, with crumbs of chocolate on her face and balancing plate of muffins on top of her tummy. She reached up without looking, taking a fresh muffin that was fatter than her fist and unwrapping it.
“Kaguya,” the girl whispered, “can we have donuts for dinner?”
Kaguya closed her eyes in a joyful grin. “Donuts for dinner?” she repeated into the phone. “Why, Chika, that sounds terrible for our diets.”
She heard Miyuki stirring once more and was so overjoyed with his reaction that she missed Chika turning to her, stroking a hand over her soft double chin and asking, “Diets? What die-”
Chika’s mind had been working quite slow that evening. After all, there was food on the television and a plate of muffins to be eaten, could she be blamed for getting a little lost?
But when she saw Kaguya blushing, leaning into the phone, the conversation forced itself through her sugarplum thoughts and Chika shrieked.
“Aiiieee! You’re not supposed to say that over the phone!” she screamed. The muffins fell to the carpet below as Chika rolled over before leaping at Kaguya like the world’s fattest panther.
Kaguya collapsed with a strangled yelp onto the cushions while Chika pulled herself on top of her middle. She snapped at Kaguya’s phone with grubby sausage fingers, clawing it away. “Who is this?!” she demanded. “What did you hear?”
“Ahh! Chika,” Kaguya gasped, suddenly aware just how solid a doughball could be with Chika’s gut suffocating her own full belly.
She heard his cough from the other end before Miyuki continued. “Very well, Vice President. I will honor your request, and our meeting will assemble at the beach tomorrow after classes. Give my best to Chika, and enjoy your doughnuts.”
“The beach?!” Chika shrieked, brightening until she resembled a marshmallow cherry. “I can’t- but- there’s no!”
The phone went silent.
Kaguya’s face was as blue as Chika was red, suffocation overwhelming her lungs and the four muffins she’d scarfed down straining her center. She pressed her hands into Chika and rolled, sending the girl screaming down to join the muffins on the carpet below.
Both of the girls needed a moment to breath, during which the televised baker loudly proclaimed the sweets were almost prepared to be eaten.
Chika popped up, her belly quivering madly in Kaguya’s face. “We can’t go to the beach!” she demanded.
Kaguya puckered her lips into a dark scowl. “Why would you deny this? You love the beach.”
Chika stared at Kaguya, then looked down at her exposed stomach. In the light of the living room, several small stretchmarks could be seen around Chika’s bellybutton that likened her comparison to uncooked dough. To put it plainly, she looked as heavy as she felt, and she felt like a grade A fatass.
She whined, putting her hands down over her tummy as if to cover it from sight, but it was far, far, far too large and only drew Kaguya’s attention.
“I don’t see how this…” It took staring into that jiggling, flabby stomach, the fluffy white arms packed into the pinching green tee, and the shadows of Chika’s braless breasts beneath the tight top to strike her. She could suddenly see Miyuki’s laptop sitting open before her, with the bashful Chika framed inside of a window, trying and failing to hide her fatness.
“Oh…” Kaguya muttered numbly realizing.
A ding chimed from the television, and the chef proclaimed the donuts were ready to be eaten.
Despite herself, Chika turned back to the TV, giving Kaguya another view of her filled out friend. Even her back was fat, bunching up to form fatty rolls that tugged down at her waist.
Kaguya looked down at herself, lifting her shirt and poking a finger into her small muffin, suddenly feeling much less confident as she sat in the shadow of the girl who resembled a cake.
She saw the muffins on the ground and banished them from thought, turning her mind on something more. Something far more filling, far more fattening. Her ruby eyes glinted, beholding the pale curve of a most delectable dish.
Kaguya stood, taking Chika by the generous waist and pulling her towards the kitchen. “Let’s go,” she ordered.
Chika hopped worriedly but trundled along beneath Kaguya’s grip. She was deposited atop of a small stool at the granite island in the center of the kitchen while Kaguya went to her refrigerator.
Opening the freezer, Kaguya whispered, “I wasn’t planning on using this until he came for dinner…”
“Eh? Using what??” Chika asked.
Kaguya withdrew a red and black box, upon which was scrawled ‘Chef Batastia’s famous cheesecake’ in calligraphic English. On box displayed a miniature version of the thick cake, embellished with chocolate crumbs and a layer of fresh melted syrup drizzling over the top.
It was enough to make Chika’s belly purr even as the obese girl blanched, tucking into her double chin and down into her chest as the container was, quite solidly, hefted onto the countertop. Chika’s eyes widened further as she noticed the label informing that the contained cake weight over eight pounds.
“I-I don’t think this is going to help with our we-” Chika began.
Kaguya ignored her, snapping the stickers and withdrawing the prize.
The strawberry girl froze, her eyes passing over the pre-prepared layers of golden ambrosia that hung beneath the frozen drips of high calorie chocolate. “I… I… I…” Chika whispered, faltering in the face of that thick chocolatey goodness that made her body feel so good for being so bad.
Kaguya’s breathing was tense. She laid one hand over her middle, reassured that she was already stuffed with dough and chocolate chips, but knowing that a girl had to suffer for her body. “It says on the box that we’re supposed to wait fifteen minutes for it to thaw,” she informed.
Chika and she looked into one another before the fatter girl dashed for the utensil drawer as fast as her flabby body could move. Kaguya waited, taking the offered knife as well as a small plate when Chika returned, before cutting their first slices.
For herself she cut a piece that was far larger than her eyes, knowing she had to capitalize upon an opening attack to push forward the assault on her waistline. The cake smelled heavenly as the divine blade sliced through the layer of chocolate. It was mushy, soft, and yet exceptionally thick. She couldn’t help comparing it to herself, causing another stab of pride at her increasingly fluffy body. She inhaled, letting the scent washing over her, trying to convince herself that even just the smell was making her heavier, fatter than ever to appeal to her lover’s lust. Nearly a quarter of the cake was cleanly sliced and dropped with a foreboding slap onto her personal plate.
Going to cut Chika’s, her heartstrings were besieged when the tubby girl loosed a pathetic whine as she made to cut a much smaller slice. Kaguya levied an eyebrow at the other girl, slowly increasing the size of the piece until her companion was practically drooling. She sliced it, reasoning that Chika was merely assisting her, as she intended to finish off the entire cake in this single sitting.
Both girls then plopped into their seats, and with another shared look of sparking excitement, began to eat.
Kaguya was at war. In her mind, she was a delightfully tubby princess, fat and powerful, commanding a rain of chocolate to be sent down to her hips and breasts, calories exploding over her former trimness like hellfire artillery. She’d convinced herself that was the way she would win Miyuki’s heart, and so took quick and excited chomps of her food. If she ate slowly, she knew that the aches that had begun to form would have too much time to register, and she wouldn’t be able to finish enough.
She wielded her fork as an assassin would wield a blade, or a painter wielding her brush, with the intent to remake herself into the heaviest, widest, most alluring woman in all of the world.
Next to her, Chika was simply eating. She watched Kaguya’s assault, withholding from questioning the voracity if only to maintain her own safety. She saw Kaguya’s eyes blazing with crimson pride and decided, quite wisely, that she should probably just keep silent and enjoy her own cake.
And how wonderful the cake was. Isn’t cheesecake one of the most refined sorts of desserts? It was higher-class than the candies she’d stashed under her pillow, more well-to-do than the chocolate chip cookies hidden inside of her mattress and her underwear drawer.
The frozen treat melted in her warm mouth, letting her fat tongue mush it against the roof and feeling it wash over her like a sugary dream.
Chika had gotten fat. Undeniably, perhaps irreversibly, but it if meant she could spoil herself like this, or to be spoiled by her increasingly caring friend, then wasn’t that worth it? She’d graduate, and of course she’d get a job, but sitting around on her ever-widening ass for the last three months after a lifetime of high energy was showing Chika just how good the lazy side of life could be.
That definitely wasn’t an excuse, of course! But as the last of her slice thudded into Chika’s stuffed belly, resting comfortably astride a mountain of muffins, she felt herself watching the remainder of the cake with dessert-covered eyes.
She glanced at Kaguya, who was finishing her own, larger slice. Her breathing had slowed, becoming as heavy as her tummy and forcing her cheeks to puff up as she blew it out. She munched through another mouthful, placing her fork on the crumb covered plate and leaned back.
It was odd to watch the huge glob of chocolate-cream bob down her throat as she swallowed, odder still to visibly see the impact it had on Kaguya’s middle. The girl groaned, holding her potbelly beneath her dark top. Her stomach pushed awkwardly over her waist-high skirt, a feeling which Chika had grown quite familiar with.
“Here,” she offered, her pudgy bare feet plopping onto the tile as she lifted from her stool. She waddled behind Kaguya, her own tummy waggling freely before pressing against the smaller girl’s back. “You’ve got too much in your stomach,” Chika softly told her companion, reaching around Kaguya’s waist.
The girl reacted like a fluffy cat, at first perking up, but quickly sagging back into Chika’s stomach as the girl’s hands lifted her top. She looked down, watching Chika’s hands and hissed uncomfortably when they pushed inward, but moaned graciously when the clasps came free and her belly popped out.
Chika couldn’t help but giggle. “Yeah, that’s why I don’t button my pants,” she said. “Well… and they can’t anymore. I should wear more dresses, but those feel too much like we’re at school.”
Kaguya didn’t reply. Chika noticed her breathing had intensified; her eyes caught on her own throbbing center. Her black top was curled beneath a soft chest that seemed to perk up just a bit more before Kaguya launched herself back onto the offensive.
It was like watching an animal attack. With sharp claws, Kaguya tore into the remaining half of the cake, forcing handfuls into her mouth and sending them down to her belly. Chika lost her speech before her belly whined and she noticed. “Hey! You’re not sharing!!”
Kaguya ignored her, forcing Chika to take a fistful of her own and nibble on it, feeling like a monster for not using a fork. She managed another handful before her refinement won out and she brushed chocolate flakes from her hands.
“Gosh, what is with you?” she asked, confused with the beast that had come over her friend.
The only response was a hungry growl and a frightening groan, and Chika felt her eyes center on Kaguya’s exposed belly. It definitely looked larger, rolling out over her skirt. Chika then found herself worrying, turning from Kaguya, to the cake, and then down to her tummy.
She wondered how much room the girl had left before she would burst.
