Korra really stepped up as a leader in these last few episodes and all the adults respected and listened to her compared to season 1

Shout outs to Mako for being the world's first anti-backbender. His exes ended up together

its crazy that in this entire show, korra doesnt improve her earthbending, waterbending, and firebending... like, at all. in avatar, you see katara go from zero to amazing, but we never see korra learn more advanced waterbending techniques. she just stagnates

It’s great to rewatch the show, and the ending was shocking. If you didn’t realize, this show was groundbreaking and significant in American animated television for its portrayal of the first same-sex relationship in a popular cartoon. The series depicted a romantic relationship between the female protagonists, Korra and Asami, which was a milestone for queer audiences, especially young viewers, in an era when such representation in mainstream media was scarce. Even though they didn’t kiss in 2014, their relationship was confirmed in the comics. I like to share this fact with you, and I’m eagerly looking forward to the next series. Take care.
