Progress
Things are going well in development. I had less time to work on the game this weekend because our power was out for most of Saturday. I'm able to create dialogues, create quests, and complete quests. With that, I have implemented the new game dialogue back into the game and then I started working on other things. We're getting closer to the point where I can start giving out beta previews for the actual game, no more test builds.
Saving
I'm changing the way saving works. The game will generate a save file using the data from the game itself, instead of using the data from your existing save file. This might sound dumb or confusing, but that's only because I set it up horribly from the start. Currently, your save file has more power than it should. If you change some variables, there's a chance the game won't even boot up and there's no error handling in the game for you to be able to do anything about it.
Now, when you boot up a save file, if the save data keys don't match the game's keys it will be considered corrupted.
