Haha, never thought I'd get a complaint about too high quality! You could always open the image in an image editing software and lower the resolution

my one and only complaint is a non complaint and that is that the images are way to high quality to fit as homescreen on my phone so ill need to go for a laptop desktop image instead

It is not, Dropbox has changed the default settings for folder sharing. I sent a second link in the DM's can you open that one normally?
