It honestly felt like a lot more time had passed, but I guess it wasnโt that long after allโhaha. This month, I decided to clear my schedule to focus on learning at least one specific area before diving back into studying. I ended up forgetting to take proper rest and got a mild fever for about two days, so I started my personal piece earlier than planned. But thanks to that, I was able to dive deeper into understanding โthree-dimensional form,โ which I really wanted to learn. I wouldnโt say Iโve mastered it yet, but I can now give myself theory-based feedback on my drawings, which is a big step forward. Itโs something I absolutely needed to grasp in order to draw more characters and various objects going forward. Now that Iโve gained a bit more confidence, I think Iโm ready to begin commissions again next monthโhaha. This piece was something I had been putting off as part of a promise with someone who once requested a swimsuit Mirko. Iโm glad I was able to complete it, but in hindsight, I wish I had increased the canvas size and used thinner lines. Lately, Iโve been struggling a bit with focus, so I tried wearing earplugs while working and cutting down on multitasking like watching videos. After experiencing a mild illness for two days, I realized I mightโve been more stressed than I thought. So Iโve started going for a morning run every day. Iโve always valued cardio, but running outdoors really is different from using a treadmill. It helps me concentrate better, and now I run for about 30 minutes to an hour each dayโhaha. Health really is important. Iโm planning to start working on my doujin soon. After a bit of rest, Iโll be posting the work along with a full update once itโs doneโbut I feel like Iโll be saying something similar again on the 30thโhaha. I was a bit worried this month might come across as unproductive because of all the downtime. Iโm happy I was able to complete at least one piece, but if anyone was disappointed, I sincerely apologize. I promise to give it my all next month and create work that lives up to your expectations!
