Diver Girl Game v07 Preview + News
🕑 Added 2025-06-24 19:33:09 +0000 UTCHello hello! This is gonna be a preview post of the next update for the Diver Girl game. I've been hard at work on in for a while now, and got some stuff to show off. The screenshots are a WIP and can change. So basically the screenshots are showing off the Freeplay mode. Freeplay is designed to be end game content to give players something to work towards. It uses entirely new systems and code from what I've learned a long the way. More optimized, stable, and easier to use. Plus makes additions to it way easier in the future. These new systems will only be for Freeplay atm, but I might push them out to other modes as we go on.
So firstly, to unlock Freeplay you buy it from the Store's "Misc" tab for 500 credits (Diver Girl has to be at a point where she wants to show her body off too). Then once its unlocked the Store will have a new tab to purchase stuff to use exclusively in Freeplay. Each outfit will cost 100 credits, and each toy will cost 50 credits. Once unlocked via the store they can be used in Freeplay. Outfits/Toys unlocked normally won't show up in Freeplay and vise versa.
Freeplay as an overhauled outfit and toy system that offers real time changes (no longer do you have to progress the game state to see changes while in Freeplay), and a more customized outfit system (with the Suit outfits have unzipped options, and the ability to mix and match tops/bottoms). Also is a more in control toy control UI, that also allows you to control the Exhaler now while in Freeplay. Diver Girls O2 skill, and gear add ons that effect her lungs will work in Freeplay, but no outside consumables/gear will be allowed.
Other changes outside of Freeplay is the inclusion of Loot and Sample items. Loot items are found in chests, with rarer ones found in Boss/end of maze chests. Samples can be found after defeating creatures with rarer ones dropped by tougher creatures. Both Loot and Sample items can be sold to the store for Credits. Allowing players more chances to earn Credits, and add more depth to the mazes.
So when is the update coming out? I don't wanna give a hard date, but soon. Hopefully by the end of the month or early next month. I still have some polish to do, and want to add a new animation (don't know if I'll be able to add one though). The new update will enter the playtest phase probably tomorrow, so hopefully it'll be out soon =3
Thank you everyone so much for the support, it really means a lot. I can't wait for everyone to play the new update. More art to come as well ;)
