[Marvel: I Started by Containing SCPs] Chapter 230
🕑 Added 2025-01-15 16:00:10 +0000 UTC["The reason the Seraph with a Thousand Wings stopped after engulfing the city was that no more sound existed nearby. The Foundation immediately isolated the area and implemented measures to prevent any sound from reaching the Seraph."]
["The Foundation made numerous attempts to destroy the Seraph. However, even the faintest sound, such as a footstep, would cause the feathers to consume everything in its path. We received the final words of one of the task force members, who described the feathers as feeling soft and pulling him in without resistance. This further solidified the Seraph's bizarre nature."]
["Just when we thought containment was impossible and considered isolating the entire area, the Seraph's feathers began to retract on their own. Satellite footage revealed that the feathers retracted into an eight-meter-tall entity enveloped by enormous wings."]
["We speculate that this retraction occurs after feeding, as a way to conserve energy."]
["The Foundation prepared completely soundproof equipment and implemented rigorous measures to ensure no sound escaped during operations. Using these precautions, the Seraph was finally contained successfully."]
["Subsequent experiments on the Seraph frequently resulted in fatalities or triggered major containment breaches, often caused by even the slightest sound."]
["Despite the risks, the experiments yielded some results. It was discovered that the Seraph has a preference for gentle music. When exposed to such music, it does not immediately proliferate feathers but listens for a time before acting."]
["Attempts to unveil the entity within the wings were made. However, any physical contact with the wings resulted in individuals being instantly pulled inside, never to return. No method could prevent this."]
["Destruction proved even less feasible. Any sound created by approaching weapons triggered the Seraph's feather proliferation. Even successful strikes failed to damage it."]
The screen displayed footage of a Foundation task force member operating a cannon aimed at the Seraph.
The cannon fired a laser, but instead of causing the expected damage, the sound produced by the laser's atmospheric friction triggered the Seraph's response.
Feathers proliferated wildly, engulfing the laser and consuming the task force. No one survived the incident.
In response, the Foundation enacted emergency protocols, isolating the surrounding area to prevent further expansion.
["After multiple failed experiments, the Foundation decided to cease testing on the Seraph. Containment procedures became stricter, requiring the use of the highest-grade soundproof materials for its confinement chamber. All personnel entering or exiting must wear completely soundproof protective gear."]
As the screen narrated the Seraph's characteristics, many viewers were left in awe and fear.
Doctor Strange: "Feeding on sound… I've never heard of anything so bizarre!"
Nick Fury: "Even more unsettling is its immunity to all weapons. Combined with its properties, approaching it is a death sentence!"
Usopp: "That's disgusting! This is nothing like the angels I imagined!"
Diana: "This isn't an angel—it's a devil wrapped in the guise of one."
Bruce: "This thing is terrifying! The world is full of sound. If left unchecked, it could cause unimaginable destruction!"
Bruce: "If it appeared in a city, it would slaughter countless people. Given enough time, it could wipe out an entire nation!"
Sisyphus: "A nation? Likely much more. Nature itself produces sound. Even the wind could trigger its endless proliferation!"
Daigo: "If that's true, it could destroy the entire world!"
Nobita: "That would be horrible! If the entire world were covered in feathers, we'd be doomed!"
Taro: "I just hope it can't leave the atmosphere."
Thanos: "Taro, are you implying mere feathers could destroy the universe?"
Taro: "Not quite. Space is a vacuum, so there's no sound. But if someone weaponized it for invasion, it would be catastrophic."
Thanos: "Hmph. An efficient weapon indeed."
Tony Stark: "You lunatic! How would you even control it as a weapon?"
Thanos: "The screen mentioned it retracts after a period of inactivity. I'd simply wait. One planet is more than enough."
Steve Rogers: "You're a complete maniac!"
Thanatos: "I find it quite poetic. Humans consumed by angelic feathers—it's fitting divine punishment."
Hypnos: "I wonder how effective it would be against Saints."
Sage: "Nonsense! We wouldn't lose to a pile of feathers!"
Diana: "Indeed. Just because conventional weapons fail doesn't mean all attacks would."
Naruto: "Right! With Kurama's chakra, I'm sure I could fight it!"
Orochimaru: "Heh, I'd love to pluck a feather for experiments. It would be fascinating."
Aaron: "We'll find out if it appears."
Aaron's comment left many tense. The idea of facing such an entity filled some with dread, especially given its strange abilities.
One Piece World, Whitebeard's Crew
"Hey, Pops, if that thing showed up here, could we handle it?" Marco asked, sitting beside Whitebeard.
"Don't know," Whitebeard replied after taking a swig of sake.
Staring at the Seraph on the screen, he felt uneasy. His quake-quake abilities caused significant vibrations—if those triggered the feathers, it could spell disaster.
Ultraman Leo Universe
"Captain, what should we do if we encounter it?"
Genji asked nervously, worried his Leo Kick might be engulfed by the Seraph's feathers before landing.
"It's simple. Use telekinesis," Taro replied confidently.
"Telekinesis doesn't produce sound. Against the Seraph, it would be a perfect counter."
