so, i'm guessing, they're either secret agents playing around with artefacts like warehouse 13 or collage students that found a magic artefact hope there's more than one of those magic doodads around, cause after she transforms, it's be cool to either see them getting ready for another round with a different artefact, or have original spider-girl get another artefact to even the odds with a different transformation maybe something that preys on spiders?

I'd assume for variety's sake that her spider form is gonna look different, right? Maybe you could make her more of a sleek, latex-inspired and absurdly-curvy black widow or orb weaver type... Heck, you could even use the famous hourglass symbol for the former to make a joke about her new proportions. :>

dude, it has to start on the butt. That's like a SPIDER rule. The spider charm is a cool plot device, I didnt think it played a part when we first see it in the comic. I wonder if it's got a consciousness to it?
