Working on a new art book.
🕑 Added 2022-06-14 20:48:17 +0000 UTCAs some will know, I was forced to part ways with the print service Lulu in early 2021. At the time I wasn't too bothered as their print quality had dropped... however, since then they must have either got their sh*t together, or have gained new owners, as their print quality is now AWESOME. As such, I'm going crawling back to them. They're still the only show in town when it comes to a service that prints and distributes on demand, afterall, and pride be damned; I like seeing my work in book form!
(If that's not true, someone please tell me! I'm always interested in new opportunities!)
I'm putting together some new art books containing all the "themed day" pinups that I post on Twitter. First up will be Werewolf Wednesdays.
Here's a sneaky peek at the the cover I'm working on.
Still undecided about a few aspects of it.

I’m not sure which color I prefer but if you lighten/drop the opacity of the background collage it would improve the overall look because the cover pinup and titles would pop more

I think the third cover with the big BG works the best, but who am I kidding? I'm totally going to buy the shit out of this book when it comes out.

Hmmm. At a glance, while the pink background is more visually distinct from the foreground, it feels like the orange one makes the title and your name pop out more instead. So I think they both have their merits...

Oh yeah, if you do some before shots for some that'd be really fun. Maybe a full 2 page spread sequence or little 1 page lead-up comics for a some good ones. Wonder if we'll be getting a Titan Tuesdays sketch/comic compilation down the line now.

This is an amazing idea for a collection, especially if some of the better one-offs get remastered or expanded with a "before" shot. Interesting to hear about Lulu getting better, will have to keep that one in my back pocket for later.

I thought the main reason you ditched them was because they were prudes and nuked your apsara content? I lost my library of your purchases so i'm not completely comfortable with using them again but if they do decent hardcopies then I could be convinced to give them another chance. Oh and in reference to your post I like the purple lineart in the background for the last image best.
