Seems that way, bit of a shame really as the diversity is what I liked about JJs stuff. It makes sense to play to the biggest section of the fanbase though.

As much as I want to see the Mr. Talking fox again, a kimono transformation is too good to pass up. Hopefully we will see M. T-F again in the future!
