This beta was draining but for all the wrong reasons, because this beta was not a story update and more mechanics, it was really down to meticulous work and very number-oriented things. Things that turned out to be quite a hindrance since the dating mechanic would look wonky if I get even just a 1 point difference, so... yeah. My eyeballs and low attention span were just not vibing
But I did eventually get everything I wanted to work. All bachelors are now fully playable in the dating minigame!
If you have a bad date with them, they will tell you what they dislike in the character notes, and if you have a wonderful date at least once, they will reveal what they like in the character notes as well. You can also do this by spending money in Merry's cafe.
Other than that, you can now sell fish and I adjusted the prices for better money balancing, hopefully, that helps with the gold grind issue. Some hints for the bachelor dates though:
1. Quill needs the highest points to have a good date, but he is very easy to please by talking.
2. Arshem has the lowest point threshold for a good date and he is genuinely the easiest to date. Unless you insult or cross his very few boundaries, it's very unlikely to have a bad date. (Honestly, I'm going to make a bad date with him into a Steam achievement because it's so unlikely to fail)
3. Lyall loves touch but gifts and talking won't have much effect on him. He also won't lose points if you have a bad date. (Touchstarved lad, he takes affection anyway he can get)
4. Thane is fickle, as in he has a lot of touch randomizer points but gifts will always bring him massive points
Other than that, this beta fixes issues with Lyall mentioning Poppy is gone despite her not turning into a werewolf, blocking certain events to trigger after the children kidnapping event (Lyall's early dating event all happened in Leynar and should be done before the missing kids event to be fully explored)
And some sprite positioning, but story and assets are mostly unchanged as the CGs I draw this month are mostly not coded in as I'm still waiting on the edited scripts from my editor so I can neatly code the files there.
So this beta still have plenty of typos n grammar issues, apologies in advance!

I was also wondering where to deliver some feedback. I've encountered dialogue and scenes that doesn't make sense due to what has already happened so far in the game.

You can report any bugs here https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1l-_uctFqO9Bro5eG7-lyqLlwCqVNjpuo?usp=sharing I must've forgot to add a safeguard for Thane's cure to not trigger after Fia bond with him (there is only a small window to cure Thane, by default he will bond with Fia if we choose not to do it ourselves.) thank you for letting me know, I never tried to cure Thane after Fia bonded with him, it was always before so good to know!

I just played through this beta and I am so grateful you let us follow along on your development journey. I can't imagine how much work goes into writing, drawing art for, and developing this game. It was super engrossing and had me staying up way past my bedtime multiple nights this past week. I played blind and got the (spoiler) Witches' Paradise ending and was shocked but delightfully so. After saying all that, is there feedback you're looking for and a format you want it in? One thing that happened in my playthrough was that (more spoilers) Thane and Fia bonded behind our backs one morning. Then the next day I was mixing a potion to help cure Thane's blood hunger and that scene played out with him showing up and acting like he was bonded with no one. Finally (and to no one's surprise) I'm obsessed with Ivar.
