Tickle shoes
🕑 Added 2023-07-21 13:56:48 +0000 UTCA recent talk on our discord got me to thinking about tickle shoes, inspired by the iconic mimic ones. This is the result.
I wanted to stay away from magic shoes cause then anything goes. I wanted them to be at least a bit plausible, well, except for the tentacles and such. But, bioengineering maybe.
If you have more ideas, do tell.

I can picture modified piano hammers poking/tickling the soles. For the toes have brushes going up between them like pistons . For example one piston goes up the one next to goes down.

Steampunk is more like a flavor - most of these could be made into that design, right? But how do we get to the sole? Or the toes?

How about a steampunk design? The tickling instrument being a spinning gear with brushes tickling the arches.

It's not bent any more than when you stand on your toes. Sure, after a while it would be uncomfortable, but any high-heel is this way.

I thought about doing an open-toed shoe focused only on the toes.

I suppose, but that could be just a regular shoe. Just put in some kind of pipe and tank and you're done.

It's nice that the whole sole is exposed and a grip around the calves may be the way to go ! But there it seems like her poor ankle is bent to much forward by the design of the shoes ...

It’s hard to see but it would be nice to have a cutaway to show that their are fibrous flosses to get the spaces between the toes as well.
