Depending on clay type you dust the plate with cornstarch to keep it from sticking.

I like the concept, but the clay would likely stick to the plate aggressively, and you probably wouldn't be able to remove it/would destroy your nice texture.

Here's an idea, how about flat texture plates to match the roller, so you print the plate, then roll the clay on top to texture both sides at once?

From dank and dark above ground to dank and dark below ground to dank and dark below freezing, it all seems about the same to me. I really like what you have going with this patreon, so it's ok I don't take an interest in this one. I'm with Ron though, roll-out modern building materials would be nice in an upcoming set.
