As you travel through the void, you begin to pick up an Emergency Beacon on your radar. All communication attempts have failed, but your crew could swear they heard a voice coming through. The signal is getting dimmer as the vessel floats deeper into the massive space hulk. Time to move in!
Hello Miniature Makers!
We put together a huge set for you this month - everything you will need to create your very own Space Horror this Halloween!
We included a large variety of floor and wall rollers with this set. This time we took our roller tech even further and added 1-inch interchangeable roller sections (like pipe segments) enabling you to roll out lots of different combinations of bridges, paths, and more! Of course, we included all of the stamps and add-on models you will need to really get your ship in order, and looking extra creepy. We also kept all of the horror stuff separate, so this set can also serve as a great general sci-fi set.
When the crew discovers the puddles of blood, severed limbs, and smashed open stasis chamber on board, they will quickly know this is no ordinary rescue mission.
We hope you enjoy this Halloween special!
Keep on rolling!
Simon & Justin

@Fredrik See my reply- remove the .zip from the filename

Hey, Just following up on this. I think I worked it out, just in case you are asked again. If on a Mac, you need to remove the .zip from the filename (I did via command + I to get the info window up). Seemed to work! Thanks again
Fredrik Nilson
I have the exact same problem

Thanks for the reply and for the link. Unfortunately, it outlines the process I was attempting. Seems to be n issue with how macs decompress the zip file as its converting the .curaprofile files to folders. I'll keep digging, but I may have to request screenshots of the settings so I can input them manually. Thanks again

Can't say I know specifically for a Mac, but I think the process is generally the same. This youtube video walks you through it pretty quickly https://youtu.be/H2-ZPbIIFU8 If your still having trouble - please send us a private message and we can try to assist further :)

Hi, Can someone guide me on installing the Cura profiles on a Mac? Ive gone into the profiles section (command+J) but I cannot install the downloaded .curaprofile files as they expand as a folder (with two terminal files inside). Any suggestions more than appreciated!

Thanks for your note James! Just letting you know we hear your feedback :D

This is just a thought, but is there any way to just create cylindrical segments a person could slip over the current rollers from the rollerkit? All you'd need to design is some sort of washer/bearing type thing that could fit on between the roller handles and body, so as to keep the segments in place. I'm not really into the idea of printing entirely new complete rollers every time a set comes out...

Hey David, Following up in private message :)

I really love this set! Any chance in the future you can add all of these photos to the Google Drive so that we can download all the photos for reference?

We appreciate the kind words! We are always trying to push what we can do with these sets, and looking to give you guys what we would want ourselves! :)

This must be the best set so far! So creative, very original use of the medium. Rollers and clay do lend themselves to more organic shapes better, so it's not a surprise everything else out there is for a fantasy setting. Making a scifi setting work is simply amazing!

Pretty awesome idea right there!

Thanks! Hope you get to print some soon :)

This is fantastic! I'm already envisioning a Sci-Fi themed chess board made with this!

So I just have to give a shout out to you all. I made this comment in an older post below after I realized just HOW much stuff you guys give us. For whatever reason I wasn't finding all the vault stuff. So to all you fellow patron peeps, be sure and scour your MMF library. You likely have a whole lot more than you realize.

Beautiful work! But... Why?? Why did you have to put the chopped up body parts in the picture with the fan? Ouch ...

I love it!

NICE! Wow, some truly epic rollers in this set!
