Project Re-DiD Rebirth: To-Do future projects
🕑 Added 2021-09-22 12:11:00 +0000 UTCHey there, guys!
As those of you who come from my old Patreon account might remember, Lydia and I came up with a little project called Re-DiD. It was pretty ambitious, for sure. Sadly, it was a bit too ambitious for what my already burned-out self was capable of at the time. And thus, it died almost as soon as it was born.
But it was such a good idea I couldn't let it die just like that. And so, like the Phoenix, I brought it back from its ashes! This time around re-named as 'Project Re-DiD Rebirth', this new iteration of that project is a tad smaller-scaled compared to the old one, since it'll be repurposed and adapted to my current Patreon's new line of work.
What is this new 'old' project of mine going to be about? I've got quite a big compilation folder of DiD from many sources, and I intend to put them to good use here. Every now and then I'll be choosing a few scenes among my files, and will share them with you all to give you a saying on who among my OCs will get the treatment of your choice. Keep in mind I might also have a personal preference towards a certain character or a certain scene of sorts, though - this is merely intended as a guideline. I won't shut myself down to suggestions, however - who knows, they actually might give me an idea to create variants on a same picture!
In any case, I really hope you guys enjoy this as much as I'm gonna enjoy working on these in the future :) I know, I haven't got many OCs propertly introduced yet, but I intend to change that in a not-so-distant future, so keep an eye on any future updates!
Our current sample list includes:
1. Seforah sequence.
Scene source: King Kong the Animated Series (2000)
Not much to say about this one, it's pretty much already elaborated. All I need to do is to properly ink and color the whole sequence. I can't resist to get my dear Seforah involved in some classic DiD sequence! :3
2. Double carry - cart sequence.
Scene source: Twelve Kingdoms (2003).
A really good intimate sequence in which two captives discuss about their odds to escape, or just anything really, while their captors are taking them somewhere. A lot could happen in this story, though, and that might give our prisoners plenty of chances to break free!
3. Lying in bed - struggling sequence.
Scene source: Cat's Eye (1983-85).
I love everything about this particular scene. The comfortable yet tense position the captive is in, the urge to break free while still finding herself in a soft spot... Compared to the original scene, I'd diminish the sense of urgency just to give the lady plenty of time to 'feel' her state, or maybe I'd play it as it is, as part of one of Lydia's noir films. The possibilities are only limited by our imagination!
4. Chairtie - locked in a tool box.
Scene source: The Mask TAS (1996).
Another classic that goes for a lot of different takes. Very simple, yet its true delight is in its simplicity. Doesn't even have to be a 'peril', maybe Lydia (or anyone else for that matter) just wanted a break. It doesn't even have to be a total lockdown, she can even sit on her couch, watching TV as she's in her 'zen' mode!
These are all the scenes we've got, but not all they're left. If this little project proves to be successful, more of these will come in the future.
Hope you like it, and feel free to drop those suggestions down!
