🕑 Added 2023-09-06 13:46:24 +0000 UTC漫画を再開しましたが、ずいぶん時間がたってしまったので、今の話のはじめの方を再掲します。
I have resumed the comic, but since there has been an interval, I am reposting the beginning of the current story.
Summer vacation is over.
It was short.
I enjoyed the theme parks.
I envy you.
I was at the training camp from hell.
Ayame's case is special.
Speaking of the end of summer vacation...
There are those who have suddenly changed their mood.
What did they experience this summer?
What? Me?
You just got a tan from extracurricular activities.
By the way...
Ayame has grown somewhat larger.
I ate too much after returning to Japan.
Did she move up in weight class?
How many pounds do you weigh now?
This morning it was about 122 lbs.
That's 11 lbs heavier than before the summer break.
It would be bad if an offer came in at straw weight...
If the weight loss isn't as hard as before, let's go out to eat afterwards.
This soft serve ice cream is delicious.
I always eat the ones with protein in them.
The regular ones are very tasty.
Are you guys athletes of some kind?
This girl is a professional fighter.
Wow, that's great.
I'll be rooting for you.
Women's Flyweight World Tournament scheduled to be held from fall to the end of the year.
The last contestant has not yet been chosen...
We're currently in talks with Huang at TWO, as well as with the EFC.
but the schedule is too tight for a winner-takes-all tournament.
Negotiations have been difficult.
We will negotiate until the last minute, but we should have a backup fighter.
Yamada Sora appealed to participate in that tournament.
I feel that Yamada is not ready yet because we are gathering champion classes from all over the world.
So, let's set up her assessment match and give it a try.
If we do, it will be the next event in Nagoya.
But the time frame for holding the event is short.
What about her opponents?
There is no time to choose.
I remember a martial arts writer, Gono, once recommended a fighter...
Please enter in order when the entrance music is played as rehearsed.
Now, I would like to invite the fighters participating in the RYUZIN 145 Nagoya tournament to take the stage.
Please welcome them with applause.
Are those uniforms real?
Yeah.
The chairman told me to wear it to make as much of an impression as possible.
High school student? You're so young.
Sophomore.
’’It's Mr. Kozuka, the Beep Champion! Amazing...’’
Many reporters.
I've never been to a press conference of this magnitude before and I'm nervous.
Let's hear the commentary on what to watch for in the next tournament and the enthusiasm of the fighters.
Well, next up we have an MMA rules Women's Flyweight One-Match.
Sora Yamada vs. Ayame Nemoto.
This match is an assessment match for the right to participate in the Women's Flyweight World Championship Tournament to be held in the fall.
Sora Yamada is moving down a weight class from bantamweight to compete in the tournament.
And this is Ayame Nemoto, who is participating for the first time.
This is Yamada Sora.
Thank you for arranging this assessment match for the World Tournament.
I'm taking this chance and entering the fall tournaments!
And in that tournament, I will get my revenge on Kyla Mullies!
This one... She who broke Mari's arm...
What is your impression of your opponent Nemoto?
I'll say this clearly, I am only looking at the next world tournament, so I couldn't care less about her.
Is there anything you are doing for this match?
My goal is to improve the overall level of the match.
I am mainly strengthening the practice of striking, which is my weak point.
Nemoto is a fighter whose backbone is kickboxing, but is she willing to compete with striking?
I think this match is a good opportunity to test my striking.
If it doesn't work against this level of opponent, it won't win in the future.
Therefore, I will fight with blows and aim for KO.
Thank you for listening.
Next, Ayame Nemoto, the floor is yours.
My name is Ayame Nemoto and I belong to Takagaki Gym.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity.
My dream is to become a world champion in high school.
With this opportunity, I will make my dream come true!
So, if you have any questions, please ask.
You don't seem to have much of an MMA career, but are you prepared for the ground, etc.?
I would like to keep stand as much as possible, but I have been practicing at the Korean training camp to be able to handle any situation.
Are there any other questions?
...If not, we will move on to the next match.
Huh? Not many questions for me.
Next up, match 4...
Am I not getting attention....
Uh-oh.I was nervous.
You did fine.
Haramori President.
Thank you for giving my fighter a chance this time.
Nemoto, I hear you are an aggressive and good fighter.
I have high expectations for you.
If you put up a good fight, you may qualify for the next world tournament.
Even if you lose, I will give you another chance, so please do your best.
Yes！
I'll do my best!
I had an image of Mr. Haramori as a scary person, but he is not.
Is that so? I didn't think so.
This match is an assessment match, right?
Even if you win, you are not guaranteed a place in the World Championships.
It means losing with spectacular content is better than winning with boring content.
That's tough for a fighter.
But I'm still in the early stages of my career, so I'll take my chances and go all out!
It is.And I hear there will be a terrestrial TV broadcast this time.
Yamada Sora is a fighter the organization is expecting to see, so there is a good chance the match will be broadcast.
This is your chance to make a name for herself.
I was active in many minor groups and foreign tournaments, so I only had one terrestrial broadcast on TV at the end of my active career.
It was during the tournament to determine the Japanese representative for Kr0 ( Kerio, a major kickboxing organization), wasn't it?
You lost in the first round. I heard it was a boring match, so it wasn't broadcast at all.
No doubt.
It was a 10-second digest broadcast.
Ayame is a future fighter.
I don't care if she loses. Go out there and make a big impact!
Yes!
Chairman Takagaki, it has been a while.
Wow!
Mr,Tatsuro, the champion of Kr0!？
I am a huge Tatsuro fan!
I started martial arts after watching your fights.
Thank you. Glad to hear it, Ayame Nemoto.
Wow. You know me?
Please take a picture with me.
Sure, sure.
Chairman Takagaki, It has been a long time since I saw you last.
I am sorry to have troubled you on that occasion.
Yeah... well...It's a done deal.Drop by my gym again.
I will visit again soon.
By the way, why are you here today?
Are you going to be in the RYUZIN match too?
No, it is not.
I'm here today to escort Sora Yamada.
Because she is practicing striking at my gym right now.
Is that so?
Sola has striking much better.
It could be dangerous if you underestimate it.
See you again at the next competition.
You work as a second for Sola.
That reminds me, Tatsuro used to have a management contract with our gym.
Only early in that guy's career.
I had forgotten it because no one talked about it.
My gym was originally built for my own practice when I went freelance.
After winning a few titles in Japan, I set my sights on winning a major title outside of Japan.
I fought in Thailand, the home of Muay Thai, and in Europe.
But I was very close, but I couldn't win a major title.
When I retired, I decided that next time I would be a coach and fulfill a dream that I could not fulfill.
I built a gym exclusively for professional fighters with my teammates from my days as an active player.
At that time, Tatsuro, who was a high school student at the time, joined our gym.
Full name Tatsuro Takeuchi
Physicality, sense, mentality, and star quality.
I felt all amazing talent.
I was sure he would become a champion of a major promotion.
I got into coaching him.
However, just as he markedly stood out as a professional, a major promoter pulled him out.
Other promising young fighters followed him.
Our gym was in danger of even surviving.
That's what happened...
That's why everyone else doesn't talk about Tatsuro.
I was ready to close the gym.
But I reconsidered for the sake of the team I work with.
And the gym was relaunched with new general classes, including kids' classes and exercise, instead of a pro-only gym.
Then, Ayame and Masaki joined our kids' class.
It's a strange feeling to be able to come back to such a big event after having given up once.
Plus, it means fighting Tatsuro indirectly, right?
So Ayame...
You must win!
Give Tatsuro a shot in the arm!
Earlier you said it doesn't matter if you lose.
We're gonna beat him!
Coming up we have a one-match women's flyweight MMA rules bout!
Let's Go!
Give it your all!
Yeah！
