I had the same concern. I was the one that found the video where snuffy specifically said that she doesn’t mind NSFW artwork made of her. In the video somebody in a VR chat specifically asked if she minds if he would make NSFW artwork of her and she says that she does not mind if people make NSFW artwork of her in general, not just him specifically.

Yeah, that's what's important honestly is if they're fine with it! Like if they get asked and give the ok or if they've made a broader statement saying they're fine with people doing NSFW things involving their avs!

I totally understand that point of view. Like with Snuffy I would only do her animation with approval of the v-tuber themselves, or if they have expressed that they're fine with nsfw of themselves like she did! I get where you're coming from when it comes to actual people, not actors per se. Some do adopt personalities that can blur that line, but approval is a way to go in that instance.

Honestly i don't think real people should be considered for these animations, like the vtubers and stuff, at least not without their consent. It's different than a fictional character because vtuber avs are a representation of a real person (regardless of how fantasy/unrealistic their avatars may be). Obviously Lusty is an exception because these are her animations and artwork so she can consent to it. If consent is given then that's fine of course, but if not then that's a bit of an ick for me.
