Payment Issues and Declines + What to Expect this Month and Next!
🕑 Added 2023-08-04 16:16:53 +0000 UTCHi everyone! It seems that Patreon has been having site wide issues processing pledges! Special thanks to Dim for bringing this to my attention! Here's the copypasta below!
"Update - We've traced the slightly elevated decline rates back to payments infrastructure upgrades required by one of our payment processing partners. Patrons might see some payments declined while changes take effect through the payments ecosystem. If you do:
Contact your card issuer to confirm the charge is valid and retry that card, or, if that does not work, try a different payment method
We're deeply sorry for the inconvenience this causes creators and their patrons."
So either contact your bank to confirm the charge is valid, try a different payment method if your current method of payment doesn't work or wait to see if the changes take effect and your payment is processed automatically. Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon!
Apparently there is a site-wide issue with payouts and payments, which might mean your normal pledge is declined. If this is happening to you, wait until the issue is resolved before attempting to pledge again.

In other news, Ilulu is roughly half way done! This extra help is making it easier so far, things are going swimmingly!
In case you missed it, for 10+25 tiers, there will be a Q+A portion for the next animation where those tiers can submit questions! There is still time roughly until Ilulu is done to submit and questions if you haven't already! You can find that here!
Also a super beloved character has won our Big Belly Theme Vote! Raven from Teen Titans! It was quite close, Rebecca from Cyberpunk has been a contender the past few times and the new Lois Lane was up there as well! Those extra votes really made the difference! ;)

I know what you mean. The glitch is surprisingly selective because I was given no difficulty when it came to Dim pixel but for Lusty I had to switch my payment method to get back in.
