Story Goals
🕑 Added 2019-07-15 06:14:13 +0000 UTCSorry that I have not done much educational posts recently, I have not had any ideas as of late.
This post will quickly take about Story Goals and how they relate to Role Reversal #04. So some spoilers might be ahead.
When I started thinking of what I wanted to do in RR_04, I had one Goal. To work with in a fantasy setting. It was simple but it helped to give me directions, from there other Goals where added that helped inform my decision making process, in regards to the story, characters and location.
My goals soon became, use fantasy characters, have pole dancing, modern world, have no dialogue until the last page, have there be the start of a love story between an Elf dancer and a Human.
It was only once I started to construct character designs and lay out the story that I realized that anther goal was missing. One that would make the story fit with the previous RR stories. That was kink. Once I did this the whole story changed for the better, as each character had more direction and thus the world felt more realized.
I didn't want remove a goal. In this case I could have made sense to removed the pole dancing but instead I wanted to incorporate it. I don't like the idea of removing a goal.
So now I have a few dancers that instead of randomly pole dancing, now they have purpose. Each representing kink related themes that fit with in the RR universe. Unlike before they where just random dancers doing random things.
Thank you for your time
I hope you found this interesting.
