End of Year: The FULL TIME BEGINS and Next Video Poll
🕑 Added 2023-12-31 00:56:47 +0000 UTCGood evening everyone!
A few months back I made a post saying I'd be temporarily taking some time off from my normal "other contract work" to see if I went crazy from a different life balance. While a lot of weird shit did come up in that time, that ended up not being a detriment. After also realizing there are several games that came out this year whose launch I missed completely because there's just so much stuff going on, I'm finally taking the plunge and will be focusing just on YouTube stuff and not doing any of my normal work. This won't necessarily mean an absolute deluge of videos, and if it does start to feel weird I made sure I have an avenue back, but things seem stable enough to make it possible for the foreseeable future.
On that note, the Sins video is sadly going to have to be in the new year even though I was desperate to get it done this month, but it was at a point where the video would be rushed and I don't want that. Not that it should even be a particularly long video due to the lack of campaigns and a "real story", but regardless I figured better safe than sorry. Still, on that note I'm opening a poll for what the next video should be since there's a contender I could do just before it that's on the sillier side.
This is one of those games in the same vein as Genesis Rising that I bought but never completed, which is about an alternate World War 2 where things take a turn for the really fucking weird. War Front Turning Point kind of promises a Wolfenstein experience, but it ends up being more of a strange fever dream. It's fully recorded, so I'm good to being editing whatever, it's just a question of whether this or Sins should come first. The other will follow right after unless Amnesia A Machine for Pigs seems to be a better fit between them, but regardless those are all concrete the next three videos.
I hope your Christmas and other holidays went well, and wish you all a fantastic new year! Thanks as always for your continued support.

I'd Buy That For a Dollar!!!
Haven't heard of either, but I'm sure either will be interesting to learn about.

I don't want to say something unbecoming, but this Viper guy seems like a real jerk!
Matt Navey
Have you heard the news about Viper the Rapper
Slumlord722
Seems funny but I've been waiting for the Sins review for a while now; I say bring it on
Fluffy Beaver
Mandy should play Lula one day. The premise vs the actual game difference is pretty wild.
Slöfus
War front looks nuts enough to be fun. I also notice that the publishers are CDV, who also put out the Cossacks game, Sudden Strike and.... Lula the Sexy Empire.
HereticShark
I can't wait to see both!

As much as I want the Sins video, War Front is just too wild of an experience to pass up. I remember playing it as a kid, so I'm excited to see how much I did or didn't remember.

Will there be more advertisements in videos going forward? Will you also open up Kofi or another revenue stream? (I heard they take a smaller cut then Patreon.)
CDOgren
i played sins too much to vote otherwise

Wow, 50/50 at the moment. I want War Front because of how silly it sounds as a premise and the potential wehraboo drama that will occur.
Maclean Ellis
What he said.

If you give me an option to see Mandy play an absolute fever dream of a game, you know I'm gonna take it
Brandon Davis
Follow your whims Mandy, War Front all the way! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Finn Kempers
I love weird games, feed me that right into my veins.

"Indifferent" probably would've been a better description

Just want to voice my opinion that I want Mandy to do Mandy.
Jojo Evans
yeah just don’t vote, right?

Can we have an abstain option? Happy to hear you're going full time. Super excited to see what comes next.
Sean Wolf
Super great to hear you can go full time. You are by far my favourite content creator and I'm excited for what you'll make in 2024. I love that your videos are actually review videos and are well structured, going through all the different aspects of what makes a game great.
