Help Tak Choose What Faction to Crusade With

Decide my (Tak) destiny! What Faction/Army will I use in Play On Crusade 2020 Season 1.
I have four armies in various states of build and paint and cannot decide what to bring to the tabletop. I am hoping you Patrons can help him make the call. Crusade will be our Patreon Exclusive content and every member of Play On will play in this Crusade campaign this year.
Choose Ultramarines because...
You want me to play the army I am the most familiar with. I won't have to paint any new models because this is my biggest and most comprehensive collection of painted miniatures.
Choose Adeptus Mechanicus because...
You want to push me into finishing up the Ad Mech force in the custom theme. I don't know this army very well but Crusade is a good format to learn in. This will be a bit of a challenge as I don't know how much time I have for painting and practicing but we do like challenges here.
Choose Necrons because...
They are the new big scary evil of the universe and need to be represented! I know nothing about he Necrons and only have what is out of the Indomitus set. This will push me to really get out of my comfort zone and learn a Xenos faction as well as up my paint game. Choose this option because you don't think I need sleep.
And, you cannot choose Death Guard because...
Tycho is taking the studio Death Guard army (you saw it on the 8th edition How To).
Poll Ends on Sunday at 5pm PST so I can start to prepare the army for Play On Crusade 2020.

Just missed the poll but glad to see Ad Mech won. Haven't seen much play with all their new units yet.
Tough call Tak. All are great choices, I guess the only thing I can say is choose what you feel that you will do well with but also taht isn't a chore to build or to tough to quickly understand how to play.

I wouldn't say "more" just that the Ad Mech are further along and won't represent a massive paint push and learning curve. But, I am always up for a challenge.

So learn new paint technique to apply to a full new army. Put that on the table beside your beautifully professionally painted Deathwatch. If it means getting you on the channel then sure, bring the pain!

Should play necrons. But the paint scheme must be no metallic metal. Tak needs to challenge himself artistically and I will enjoy his suffering.

I played mostly Adeptus Mechanicus in 7th edition and loved them. So much to learn now though. They are a very nuanced force.
There will be only one machine god!
Crusade isn’t very competitive, take this time to play with a new faction just because! Also, it’d be cool to see some Necron action. Feels like a lot of people don’t care about their new stuff :(
