And now, going that fast only reminded him that part of him wasn’t him. It was dead, numb—metal that could only go the speed limit. He was a race car driver stuck in a Prius. And every little stab of his cane against the ground reminded him of the fact.
“Oh wow, Wally West! The Flash! I can’t believe I’m going to be in your room!”
Great. Kicked out of the house and the doorman was Little Miss Junior Justice League.
Wally tried to be positive. Stargirl—Courtney—was a good kid. Smart, feisty, impetuous. Barely eighteen and she had it just about all figured out; or at least, a lot more than he had at that age. Which seemed a lot longer ago than it had used to, with a whole superhero career in there now…
And she was good-looking, in a totally wrong, ‘why aren’t these magazines illegal?’ sort of way. The braces. The pert yet sizable breasts locked into the superhero community’s only crop top. The fucking shorts that clung to her firm ass like the skin on a grape. And that staff she gripped all. The. Time.
If Wally hadn’t lost his leg, he would’ve voted to kick someone off the team to make room for her. Anyone but Wonder Woman, really.
She was pushing a mobile containment unit—one of those hovering treasure chest carts that J’onn insisted on quarantining absolutely everything in. No doubt some artifact or chunk of monster or random goo from the disaster area that they’d collected for analysis. After a barrage of tests, it was going to storage and Stargirl… the intern in all but getting-Wally’s-cabin… was on guard duty. Some things never changed.
Wally just wouldn’t be around to see them not change anymore.
Courtney let go of the hovering cart and flounced her way over him, jiggling all the way, traipsing along like she might put in a cheerleader cartwheel at any moment. Lord have mercy. She made a man remember that as a One-Percent-Fertile, it was absolutely Wally’s duty to breed that booty.
“I am such a big fan!” she crooned, coming up so close to him that Wally thought the petite little thing was about to hug him. Right about the erection growing in his khakis—she was short enough for it. “Like, the Flash, and I’m staying in his room! What an honor! I can’t wait to sleep in your bed!”
“It’s a Posturepedic,” Wally said. “I’m taking it with me.”
“Are you sure?” Courtney asked, canting her head to the side. “I’d like it more if you left it in, even after you finish.”
“I… finish?” Wally asked.
“You know, your tour with the Justice League! I don’t think I’m going to finish for a while, but I suppose sometimes it just happens, right? There you are, buzzing along, and all of a sudden you just finish, right?”
“Yeah,” Wally said. “I’m probably going to take one last nap in the old homestead, get all energized for the move, then I’ll take off and the bed’s all yours.”
“Thanks for letting me have it!” Courtney beamed. “Everyone’s been so nice to me, giving me all kinds of advice and well wishes, but I think I love getting it from you most of all.”
“Well,” Wally nodded to the mobile containment unit, “you’d better get along with your unit.”
“My unit?” Courtney asked before glancing back at it. “Oh, my unit! I forgot I even had one! I thought maybe you had a unit and you wanted me to take your unit, but you don’t want me to have your unit, now do you?”
What is this, a seventies British sex comedy? Wally had to wonder. Courtney was just too much. She was sweet and cute and really damned hot, as if the adorable thing wasn’t enough. And she was a good superhero too. All Wally’d had back in the day was Wonder Girl. Who was no chopped liver, but Roy had gotten in there so fast, you’d think he was the one named Kid Flash.
“I just need to get to bed at a reasonable hour. Big day tomorrow. Moving day.”
“I’d love to help out! If you need a box—”
“No,” Wally cut her off. “I’m good. Just taking a few odds and ends.”
“Alright then!” Courtney chirped. “Have fun with your ends!”
And she walked off, swinging her hips behind her, Wally powerless not to look at that bubble behind her that seemed to have nothing between him and it but a layer of blue spandex no thicker than peach fuzz. There had to be some bylaw over anyone who’d turned eighteen that recently wearing something that much like lingerie. And if they’d vetoed it for her—why had they waited until he was off the League?
Breathing a sigh, Wally had a look at the vial he’d snatched from Courtney’s unit. He doubted it was anything really dangerous—he’d come across most everything that really packed a punch either as Flash or Kid Flash. So it wouldn’t do any harm for it to go missing a while. But it’d serve the League right to have a few sleepless nights over his souvenir… couldn’t even watch the game with him, after all the trouble he’d went to for snacks. He even prepared a gluten-free option for Green Arrow. Gluten-free!

Wally spent one last, sleepless night onboard the Watchtower. It was a surprise when he looked at his alarm clock and saw that so much time had passed, he must’ve dozed off after all, and it was now early morning. He felt energetic—how could he not, with the Speed Force all up in his business?—but not motivated. Still, he got out of bed and, still wearing the boxer shorts and undershirt he slept in, went about boxing up the various knick-knacks he didn’t want Courtney to inherit.
He found himself dragging his feet. Would it be more depressing if packing up his life took a while or not long at all? Plenty of his stuff was with Linda—he hadn’t wanted it, needed it at the time. He doubted she would go to war for it. Maybe he should reach out… no, the last way he needed to be back in her face was to get his Steely Dan CDs back.
“Need a hand?”
Wally jerked around. Courtney stood in his doorway, in her civvies, like she was ready to accompany him to Blue Valley. She wore white knee socks and a brief, navy blue skirt. Her white blouse was pulled taut over her generous breasts, which seemed bigger than they did in her costume. Was she wearing a push-up bra? Her bright blonde hair fluffed prettily around her face, combed differently than when she was wearing the mask.
She stood there and beamed at him, about glowing with youth and health.
Wally stifled a feeling of irritation with her. It wasn’t like she’d done anything wrong, being born after the millennium… “No, I’m good. Room’s all yours.”
Despite his words, Wally sat down at his desk and did a quick inventory of his belongings. Yeah, he’d collected pretty much anything. The only reason to sit and gather his thoughts was to hide the bulge of his manhood, which was showing definite signs of life. Maybe the aftermath of how he’d dreamed sweatily about Courtney, which had just about ruined his sheets. Good thing he’d already stripped the bed and sent it all down the laundry chute.
Courtney flounced into the room, examining the books on his shelves. Her slender bronze thighs flexed under her blue skirt, which seemed very short indeed with Wally sitting down. “Aren’t you taking any of these with you?”
“No need. I’ve read them all. Speedster, remember?” He couldn’t take his eyes from her golden thighs, her pert young breasts. She was wearing a bra, but it wasn’t hiding the stiffness of her nipples.
“You’re letting me have them? That’s so nice of you!”
She came over to the desk and stood next to him, staring down at the clutter of papers before him. He couldn’t ignore the lush, sensual girliness of her.
“You’d think a speedster would get his paperwork done in a hurry,” she said, a lilting tease in her voice.
“I’m not on the team anymore. I don’t think I need to be up to date on the teleporter’s safety protocols now.”
Wally was muttering. He felt like a silly kid next to Courtney. Which was dumb, because he was a married man, a successful man, and yet all this beautiful, tempestuous girlishness was driving him crazy. He didn’t trust himself to move—not without doing something crazy. He kept very still and tried not to kiss her the way his body was screaming for him to do.
Courtney leaned down, brushing her fingers through the papers on the desk like a woman would flirtatiously stir a lock of hair. He watched her breasts sway underneath the sheer fabric of her blouse.
“Courtney, I’m not dressed,” Wally protested, looking to the door just as it automatically slid shut, hiding them from prying eyes.
“Aren’t you? You’re wearing about as much as I do when I’m on the job,” Courtney cooed, running his eyes over his hairy legs, his leanly-muscled arms. “Even if you were shirtless, you’d only be showing about as much skin as Starfire. Wowie! I can’t believe you guys let her walk around like that! It was a cute outfit, though. I’m thinking of dressing as her for Halloween—if Pat’s out of town.”
Pat. Her stepfather. She might’ve been eighteen, but she still lived at home, she went to high school, sheesh! So wrong.
“It’s how she liked to dress,” Wally said, feeling a measure of defensiveness for his friend.
“I’ll bet! Some girls really love the attention. I suppose I wouldn’t be much better if I had a body like that…!”
Wally restrained the urge to tell Courtney she had a perfectly fine body. Something along the lines of Brigitte Bardot if she’d been raised in America, eaten apple pie, had her life revolve around the homecoming dance…
“It doesn’t really make much sense to me,” Courtney went on. “Wanting everyone to look at you, seeing everything you do. I’d feel so awkward! Sometimes I wish I could turn invisible and only my friends and family could see me. And maybe someone really cool like you, Mr. West. I’d hate it if you couldn’t see me.”

"running his eyes over his hairy legs" should be "her eyes" I think. Also why do I get the feeling Court is not wearing panties under that skirt(or if she does they are going to belong to Wally pretty soon)…
