It was Friday; no school for two whole days. No need to go to the Bugle when he’d just deposited his latest check. And things had been so quiet in New York lately that his last supervillain fight was self-inflicted, as he goaded Jolly Jonah into paying for a Spider-Slayer.
But all that was done. He’d outwitted the thing and even managed to swipe back his spare costume from May, who’d discovered it while cleaning his room. Substituting it for a cheap Halloween costume—she’d never know the difference—he was one fully outfitted superhero. And he might, just maybe, do a little webswinging later on. After he’d caught up on his sleep and had a full meal from the pot roast May had thoughtfully left on the stove.
Then someone knocked at the door.
By the third knock, Peter had answered it. It was Betty. She smiled at him, her face flushed with excitement. “Oh, Peter, I’m so glad you’re home.”
“Betty, hey.” And Peter was thrown off-balance by Betty opening her arms for a hug, but he quickly leaned in to give her one.
“I hope you’ve got one of those for me,” Liz said.
Peter looked up and saw the blonde and had to just drink in how good she looked. Cute as Betty was, Liz was every bit her equal, and seeing Liz while Betty pressed her body to his meant that for a few moments, all Peter could do was stare stupidly.
He tried not to show his surprise at Liz arriving with Betty, greeting her as casually as he had Betty, but his eyes were riveted to her lips and breasts.
“I know Aunt May usually plays hostess, but I also know she isn’t here,” Betty said, after she’d stopped hugging him. “Think you can feed two free-lovin’ gals or should we take our hunger elsewhere?”
Peter whipped up some tuna fish sandwiches and ramen. He could barely swallow his own food. Having Liz and Betty both gang up on him was definitely a far cry from finally meeting whatever charity case Aunt May was trying to set him up with.
The fact was, unless he’d been hit much harder than he’d realized the last time he and the Sandman had tangled, they were both flashing sex at him, giving him all the signals while markedly oblivious to the fact that another woman was there and doing the exact same thing.
Betty was eating him up with her shining eyes—a look Peter would have to be blind to miss! While Liz was enjoying her sandwich far more than Peter’s culinary skills were owed. She’d bite off a chunk of it, slowly chew it, while moaning appreciatively at the taste. And after she’d swallowed, her pink tongue would dart out and clean her lips, the tip of it squirming around her upper lip as if showing Peter where she wanted his tongue!
Peter looked at Liz to see if she was seeing this too. But the blonde was staring at Betty as if hypnotized, her eyes dilated, her lips pinching together and compressing between her teeth.
Peter didn’t know what was going on.
If he’d picked Betty up at the Daily Bugle, he’d have figured she wanted some necking or maybe even a little more, once he’d made up for his last impasse (and there was always a last impasse) by taking her out on the town and showing her a good time. What baffled him was how Liz was behaving.
Only for a moment did the truth occur to him and Peter told himself that he must be crazy to think of it. Liz wanting him as badly as Betty did? Flash Thompson’s sexy, popular, cheerleader girlfriend wanting him?
Not a chance in hell.
But as the thought returned again and again to Peter’s stunned mind, he had to admit what was going on between them. Betty looked like she was ready to pose for Playboy and she was staring at Liz with hot eyes like the blonde was her own personal issue of Penthouse. Then Betty’s eyes went to him and Peter was even more shocked. She was eying him and Liz in equal measure—what could that mean? If she had something going on with Liz, why had she invited herself to his place and seemingly set her sights on his pants?
The answer to that one came out of the realm of impossibility and into Peter’s most fervent hopes. Once, Peter never would’ve believed he could charm a single girl into bed. Now, having palled around with both Liz and Betty, it seemed like they both wanted him. It was insane, but if they both wanted each other and they both wanted him too… all it took was for all of them to like each other. He liked both of them. They both seemed to like him. So that left them liking each other. And from the looks they were giving each other, that seemed close to a certainty.
The burning question was how it would play out. Would Liz want to watch him with Betty? Did they want him to watch the two of them together? Peter still couldn’t admit the possibility that they would all three go at it—his cock was throbbing ferociously already and giving into a thought like that seemed a recipe to come in his pants.
Betty yawned as she stood up and stretched theatrically, her proud breasts pushing out the front of her shirt. “I’m tired. Mind if I take a nap here? It’s such a nice neighborhood… and you’re such a sweetheart… I’d certainly be safer here than falling asleep on the subway”
Liz stood up herself. “Yeah, a little afternoon nap sounds perfect after that nice lunch. How about it, Pete? You don’t mind if we sleep with you?”
“Sleep with me?”
“Well, we wouldn’t want to sleep in your aunt’s bed. She could come home all worn out and need someplace to sleep.”
“Which leaves your bed,” Betty added. “It’s big enough for both of us, isn’t it? We’re so thin. And you’re pretty skinny yourself. I bet you’d fit too.”
“If you’re tired,” Liz said. “You are feeling tired, aren’t you Peter? You want to sleep with us, right?”
