“Oh, give it up, Harry!” Karrin cried, starting to vent some of the tension she felt. “I know something happened with you and Molly. Something must’ve happened by now. Well, I know you’re not that. I’m not either. I’m too damn tough to get a bruise from your wandering eye.”
She reached out and trailed the pads of her fingers along Harry’s bare arm. She saw him shudder.
“You don’t know what you’re getting yourself into,” Harry said huskily.
“Oh yes I do.” Karrin smiled wickedly. “Come on, admit it. You still want me, don’t you?”
“Of course I do,” Harry said, swallowing hard. “Who doesn’t want you? Is that what you wanted to hear?”
“No, Harry,” Karrin said, sighing deeply. “I don’t want to hear anything from you. I want you to do something.”
She took him by the hand and led him to the shade of a tree, where the darkness offered an illusion of privacy. She lay down on the grass and pulled Harry down with her.
Harry didn’t look indifferent anymore. He stared at her, openly leering at her luscious body.
