Showered With
🕑 Added 2022-06-26 15:00:04 +0000 UTCTim ended patrol early that night. He had, in tactical terms, gotten the shit kicked out of him. Even Batman had agreed he should be benched, or at least, offered a terse nod when Tim said he would head in to finish the rest of the night in bed.
Back in his apartment, he stripped enough to examine his injuries. Bruce had been right not to send him back to the cave for Alfred to go over; nothing was broken, he just had some nasty bruises to take the edge off of. Tim Drake, honor roll student, couldn’t be seen looking like he’d wiped out on a motorcycle… not again.
From some big brother tips offered by Dick, he knew the best thing to hurry these bruises on their way was a long, hot shower. So even though he felt like sludge, Tim forced himself to take off the rest of his costume and make his way to the bathroom.
He could only credit his throbbing headache for not being aware that the shower was already running until he’d opened the door and come upon Cass, standing naked right under the showerhead. And the glass wasn’t misty or pebbled. If anything, it seemed to magnify the sight of her nude form.
