Young Justice: And Thoughts of Lophi
🕑 Added 2021-12-05 20:00:03 +0000 UTC“I didn’t know we could bring a tag-team partner,” Kon said when he pulled up to the curb of Cassie’s house and found Jinny Hex piling into the car with them. She got into the backseat—Cassie rode up front.
“You said this wasn’t serious,” Cassie reminded him. “That we were just going to reconnect some.”
“Yeah, but…” Kon looked back at Jinny. She wasn’t dressed for a date. She wore jeans and a denim shirt and then that dumb vest she had over it, with cowboy boots and her hat. She still looked good, with her pretty, freckled face and flowing red hair—even the cocksure expression she wore made a guy long to kiss the smug right out of her. Maybe replace it with a look of satisfied gratitude, after she’d seen what her looks and her bod could get her…
Meanwhile, Cassie wasn’t dressed up dressed up, but she had on white capri pants that showed off her long legs and a black chiffon blouse, sheer as hell, over a little pink tanktop that clung to her generous chest. She looked like a million dollars, especially with her golden goddess face and athletic physique.
Even Kon had tried to make himself look nice, but casual-nice: chinos, kicks polished to a sheen, a jacket that was dressy-cool, not cool-cool, over a check-patch sweater. He had on a pretty cozy Superman tee underneath all that, but Cassie knew he might have to go into action and he couldn’t do that spinny thing Cassie did to get into costume.
“Jinny, could you give us a minute?” Cassie asked.
Jinny soured. “Yeah. Don’t tell me y’all need a discussion before I sit down. You just wait until I get nice and comfortable…”
Still grumbling, she undid her seatbelt and got out of the Trans Am Kon had restored.
“Do you just… not wanna go out?” Kon asked. “Or would you rather hang instead of…? I know I’m not as sharp as glorious Nippon steel, but if you don’t want this to be a date, you can tell me…”
“I do!” Cassie assured him. “I kinda do… I don’t know. Kon, they messed with our memories, our heads—“
“And that still doesn’t change the way I feel about you.”
“Doesn’t it?” Cassie retorted. She closed her eyes, kneading her sinuses between her fingers, maybe regretting it. “Look, Kon, I can’t trust myself with you. You’re great—you’re really sweet and nice and… lovely. Normally, I’d be thrilled if you were into me. The same way I was the first time around. But I just want to be sure that… I don’t know… I’m responding to what’s here, not what’s in my memory.”
Kon turned in his seat to face her. “But don’t you think that’s what’s so great about us? All the history we have? How long we’ve been friends?”
“History that I didn’t know we had until a little while ago, when it all got downloaded into my head. And I know it’s real and I know it’s always been a part of me, just buried… but another part of me wonders… if I got all these memories of being in love with Mr. Freeze, would I just start dating him? Even though he’s a psycho?”
Kon looked downcast. “I don’t like being Mr. Freeze in this scenario.”
“Well, I’m Mr. Freeze too,” Cassie reasoned. “You don’t wonder if maybe you’re only interested in me because you remember that you’re supposed to be interested in me?”
Kon shook his head. “I’m interested in you because I know you. Do you want me to be interested in you without knowing how awesome you are? Love at first sight? Because I’ve had that with Starfire, it isn’t all it’s cracked up to be…”
Cassie giggled, then grew serious: “I just want to be sure that I’m not rushing into anything I’m not really ready for. That’s why I want Jinny along. She doesn’t have any rose-colored glasses, one way or another, so I hope she can… help me see things for what they really are. Like we were just two people, going on a normal date, for the first time.”
“With a chaperone along,” Kon added.
“She’s not a chaperone. But I did promise we’d pay for her drinks and go to this place she likes.”
Kon moaned lowly. “Cass, I think you’ve found a way for me to hate dating two women at once.”
***
Jinny’s choice for a romantic getaway was a country-fried roadhouse on the city limits of Metropolis. It was certainly casual, Kon would give it that. The floorboards weren’t lacquered, but boot-worn wood fresh from a lumberjack, with gaps between them big enough to lose your keys. There were free peanuts provided as appetizers and people threw the shells at the knotholes in the floor to let them drop down among the building’s foundations.
Kon regretted wearing his all-but-suit. There was no way he could eat a salad in a place like this. He’d have to roll up his sleeves and hack into a steak. It’d be delicious, but so much for looking suave and sophisticated. At least he wasn’t ordering a burger and fries, like Jinny. Extra onions—that was sure to give the evening a romantic ambience…
“So, what do you want to talk about?” Cassie asked after they ordered. She sat with Jinny on one side of the booth while Kon sprawled out in the other. He didn’t feel comfortable, though. He felt outnumbered.
Kon paused a moment, then shook his head. “I don’t know. We’re in a pretty weird space here, right?”
Cassie nodded. “No point in the ‘getting to know you’. We know everything about each other. We just don’t know each other.”
Jinny cracked open a peanut. “Ask him about that MILF chick he was staying with on Gemworld. Bet there’s some good talkin’ there.”
Kon looked at her. He didn’t give her any heatvision, but he tried to let her know that he could, if he really wanted to. “Thanks, Jinny. I didn’t know you were looking for work as a debate moderator.”
“I already picked a good place for some eats. Look at this watering hole! They let me bring in my six-shooters and everything!”
Rao, give me strength. Kon looked at Cassie. She seemed interested in hearing his answer to the question. Well, at least he’d gotten her attention off counting how many Patsy Cline song the jukebox could play.
“There wasn’t anything between us. She was just giving me a place to stay and I was trying to protect her.”
“She seemed into you,” Jinny chirped.
Note to self: Call Tim. Ask him for tips on hiding a body. “I suppose there was a bit of an attraction, but c’mon, look at me,” Kon said, subtly flexing his muscles. “Can you blame the girl?”
“Hmm…” Cassie said, looking at Jinny. Jinny gave her some damned feminine look that Kon would need an Enigma machine to decipher.
“Okay.” Kon cleared his throat. “I guess this is the downside of us having history together. It’s not just good stuff.”
Jinny planted her chin on steepled hands. “Do tell.”
“You’re not helping,” Kon told her.
“I’m finding myself to be very helpful.”
Jinny was so engrossed in being ‘helpful’ that at first, she didn’t notice the slight nudge her calf got under the table. But the caress continued until she noticed it. She glanced over at Cassie to see her silently cracking open some peanuts and pitching the shells over her shoulder.
Who’s chaperoning who, you little varmint? Jinny asked herself.
“I know I was… pretty affectionate when I was younger,” Kon said. “Hey, what can I say—isn’t there some Amazon teaching about being free to love who you want?”
“Well, yeah,” Cassie admitted. “There is.”
“There, ya see?”
“That don’t mean I have to like it. I grew up in Boston!”
Jinny pressed her leg against the ankle that was playing with her calf and thought of what she and Cassie might do together after she’d let Kon down easy. Jinny would be lying if she said she hadn’t thought about it before, but hell, just about every superhero she’d met was a major babe, male and female, except for Teen Lantern. And who knew what would happen once she hit puberty?
She wondered if Cassie was a virgin. It didn’t matter. Either way, Jinny would take care of her.
“That’s my point, though. I don’t want some random chick—“ Kon said, gesturing at Jinny. Jinny turned her head to him, mouth open to protest, and Kon pointed at Cassie instead. “I want you. I’m done with the womanizing and the flirting and… most of the pornography. That’s why nothing happened between me and Lophi.”
“Because of porno?” Cassie asked.
“Because deep down, I didn’t want a life with her. I wanted to be back home, with you, and the moment I started doing anything with her, it’d be like I was hurting her—only she wouldn’t feel it until I left. And I was always gonna leave… come back to you…”
Cassie’s cheeks blushed bright red. “God, I wanna believe you, Kon… I wanna believe you so bad… Jinny, what do you think?”
The slight pressure on Jinny’s calf was doing incredible things to her cunt. She delighted in the wet, slippery feeling she felt down there—so ready to be entered that if she were alone, she would be touching herself already. Or making Cassie touch her, at least…
“Jinny?” Cassie repeated.
“Huh? Oh, I… wha?”
Thankfully, the food came then. Jinny gratefully began munching her curly fries. Kon cut up his loaded potato. Cassie ripped up her chicken-fried steak with fork and knife, eating it piece by piece. And all the time, the pressure kept up through Jinny’s pantleg. Was there any way Cassie could know what she was doing to Jinny? She had skills, but did she know that or was she just a gifted natural? And why was she doing it, when things with Kon seemed to be going so well?
Purposefully accidental, Jinny knocked her steak knife off the table and reached down to get it, mumbling about how clumsy she was. She was shocked to see Cassie’s feet planted firmly on the floor. It wasn’t her that was getting Jinny so hot and bothered with a game of footsie, it was Kon!
As she straightened up, Jinny accidentally pushed her leg even harder against Kon’s. She could’ve given herself a slap for that one, because Kon was encouraged to lift his foot up and rest it on Jinny’s seat, his toes lightly pressing against her groin.
Jinny was stunned. So stunned she couldn’t object. The pleasure kept coming, her arousal kept building, and Jinny went under the blissful haze—she couldn’t bring herself to make a scene now. She decided to finish her meal as quickly as possible and tell Cassie what Kon had done when they were alone. She’d only keep enjoying herself to… know what she should do, if she was ever in a position to play footsie with a girl. Jinny had to admit, she didn’t think she could make a chick feel as good as Kon was making her feel now…
“You know what’s really weird?” Kon asked Cassie after a swallow, wiping his mouth with his napkin. “You talk about not knowing who I am anymore—but I don’t really know either. I’ve been Superboy… almost literally since the day I was born. You had this normal life that went into being Wonder Girl—you’re still Cassie Sandsmark. Me…” Kon shook his head in befuddlement.
“What about Conner Kent?” Cassie asked him. “I kinda liked that guy. We had some good times.”
Kon smirked painfully, like he was recalling an enjoyable, but equally embarrassing memory. “That was never me. That was the big guy. Living on a farm, in Kansas, going to school in big pick-on-me glasses.”
“So you ended up working on a farm on Gemworld instead,” Cassie said, not unsympathetic—but perhaps a little amused.
“Maybe I tempted fate so much she decided she wanted a more permanent relationship.”
As she quickly shoveled her foot down, Kon’s toes pressed into Jinny’s sex with a persistent rhythm. She tried to ignore it, but it was too pleasurable for her to put it out of her mind. Her pussy grew tender and wet, throbbing with the dull hunger that her cunt always had when it was ready to be fucked. Wanting to be fucked. As if she was no longer in control of her body, Jinny’s thighs spread. She pushed her womanhood up against the ball of Kon’s foot. It felt incredible. It felt like she was coming already.
Jinny realized suddenly that she didn’t want Kon to stop what he was doing. She wanted him to do even more.
“It’s funny,” Kon continued, focusing on Cassie, seeming totally ignorant to how flushed Jinny had become, sweat darkening her hair and shirt as it trickled, glistening, down her face. “The day I got sent to Gemworld, I had just decided I didn’t want to do it. The glasses, the buttondown shirt. I didn’t want to be Conner Kent anymore. Maybe I didn’t want to be Superboy anymore—that name seemed so old-fashioned at the time. All I wanted was to help people and stop bad guys. And before I could figure out the best way to do that… who I should be… there I was on Gemworld. Having my life chosen for me all over again.”
“So who do you want to be now?” Cassie asked, sounding genuinely curious before she took a sip of her water.
“Well, now… I find I kinda like farming. But I don’t want to be some John Deere guy in a pick-up truck with a bumper stick that says ‘My other car is a twelve-gauge shotgun’. So I was thinking of growing weed.”
Cassie spat out her drink.
