Good News, Bad News (Hiatus Announcement: GML)

So. I never wanted to be this guy. I've worked super hard to avoid being this guy, in fact. But sometimes, life just doesn't play out the way you want it to, and shit happens.
I've been completely blocked on Grand Magus' Library for almost four weeks now. I'm usually two weeks ahead of you guys, but now... now the last chapter is going to come out tomorrow, and that's it. I have nothing else written.
I could push, and force myself to keep going on a book that for some reason I just cannot find the will to write. But then I'd be writing garbage, stuff that no one wants to read, and I don't want to do that to you guys.
I'm going to hiatus Grand Magus' Library indefinitely.
I really didn't want to do this. I know how common hiatuses are in the webnovel sphere, and I did not want to be another Hiatus Andy. But I've never been this blocked before. It's really...really bad. I've been super stressed about announcing this, hoping that I could get unblocked and keep writing and not have to be that guy, but here I am, being that guy.
Know that I do this with a heavy heart. This was my most successful work to ever come off RS. My moneymaker. I have absolutely no motivation to kill it, nor do I want to. But sometimes, your brain just breaks, and the words stop coming.
I hope that some day in the future, my brain gets back on track, and I can keep writing Oz's adventures once more. But for now, the hiatus is going to have to be indefinite. It's something I can't control or push through. It's just the way it is.

Okay, so where's the good news, you ask?
The good news is that my brain is only broken for GML exclusively. NH and AM are flowing as easily as they ever do, and you can expect more words right on schedule.
Likewise, I have a replacement for GML in the works. I won't be able to put it out immediately, because this isn't something I planned or did intelligently in any way. I only started writing it yesterday, long after the words stopped flowing for GML. But there is a new LitRPG xianxia coming your way. If you want to stick around, my prognosis is a week, week and a half at worst before I've got a fresh batch of chapters for you. I'm really taking my time this time, making sure I create as ideal a story as I can.
If not, totally understand. This feels awful. I desperately wish I didn't have to do this. But there's no more hoping and waiting. I'm out of time and out of words. I'll give you all the words I have tomorrow, and that's the end of it.
I'm so sorry.

It's perfectly reasonable for you to go on hiatus. Nobody has any right to fault you for that. That being said, that story was the only reason I subscribed to your Patreon, so I will sadly be bidding you adieu. I hope you find great success in your endeavors.
