Clean Gopher

Yea, arms dealers might be the most immoral of all. He could have designed prosthetic arms or other money making schemes for goods useful and sellable to people other than violent criminals…they even noted how watches are expensive and he could have made some of those. Also, she has an illusion ability. She could just walk in and clean out some gang’s safe or a bank which is basically legalised theft anyway. No need to live in poverty. Just stand outside while invisible and teleport money into her hand or even just walk in and pick it up. She’s got quite the stealth and thief skill set and opportunity in this world which mostly lacks active magic. She even has a very clear incentive with achievement where both the wealth and the impact she’ll have will benefit her. Immorality, corruption, and her slum life create a morally acceptable target rich environment. She could use illusions to scare, threaten, and influence leaders to be more socially responsible to clean up and uplift the slums, etc. if that’s how she wants to go. But stealing from a few gangs to ride herself over with money for a few years while they power up would have been easy. Maybe even move out to a safer place to live, using illusions to pretend to be her own parent to rent or buy a place. At least Sallia seems to be on the right course with political and noble aristocracy background to see how might makes right and the ruler makes the rules. No world with humans is without monsters.

Adleiavde

I think Miria has a lot of potential with gun, at least as a 2nd weapon (extinguish being 1st). She has super high perception and relatively high physical stats, so she can easily compensate for a gun with lower accuracy. In skirmishes and with some cover, she can be very deadly and using very little essence. Btw, the ending of the chapter was a bit weird since we know old Mo already helped her sell goods

Aria

I'd be surprised if it wasn't supposed to be mortar. Otherwise it means either some poor being was wedged between some cobblestones and then shot, or they have some rather strange building materials in this dimension.

Aria

I wonder if they'll ever stop and consider the moral implications of becoming an arms dealer, especially if the weapons are likely to end up in the hands of local gang members. Would be rather ironic if one of them ends up getting shot by a gun Felix made. I also think they're probably being too quick to completely dismiss using guns for everyone in their group, if nothing else they should strongly consider using them as a backup weapon when they're low on essence, especially if they could manage to make smaller sidearms or something.

sjturner79

"in the mortal between two" should this be Mortar ? it seems unlikely that she shot a a creature ?

Dax

Felix should remove the rifling on guns sold as stolen. That's not building up *his* rep as a gunsmith yet. He should save all improvements to serve his own influence achievement gain.

Arkeus

Speed is penetrative power, though maybe that's another physic difference.
