Perception of time. Plus I don't even want to know what time magic would do If dimensional is already this bad. Can you imagine if a huge broken mana zone appeared one year after or even before the magic was cast.

Enrico Snipes

Why has there been no research on time manipulation? Many perks seem to have the side effect of messing with time so i wonder if anyone tried to make a time magic seed, and what the results were

The Immortal's Part is definitely getting more and more relevant and becoming a bigger and bigger part of the story, but the more obvious effects of his actions aren't quite ready to be 100% visible... yet.

I mean, to be fair, the Society does... SORT OF have a justification for their actions. But if they really believed in doing research no matter the cost, they could just use themselves as test subjects. It's a much less messed up way to do research, at least from a morality perspective. The fact that they use innocent villagers and randos instead is a pretty good indicator that even though they might care about their research and might even believe it helps others, they certainly aren't willing to pay the price themselves for moving that research forward...

MinE

Hope at least one of them gets a taste of their own medicine.

Ailce to the rescue! Having someone who can 'see' system mana, plus a group of knights and scouts... those damn kidnappers have it coming. Or i hope so at least. Also, if one of those guys escape with that knowledge, that will get her the attention she truly dosnt whant to have. Liked the last sentence, didnt feel it was wrong. You could have used: The old aged saying of: Trouble attracts just more trouble - proved true again today. But it dosnt sound so... nonchalant as your line, so i prefer yours. :)

MinE

I love how so many people agree these guys deserve what's hopefully coming to them. P.S They better have a good reason or bob barker's proposal seems tame.

MinE

I thought calling them bastards was too far and you went straight to torture their "immortal" souls.

bob barker

I want to see Alice get a Soul Sight perk and learn how to disembody the Starry Eyes' souls, then torture them for all of the information collected, then torture them for every life that they've taken illicitly. "In the name of research. You should understand the importance of research, right? You claim to object? Such a silly joke. That would make you a hypocrite! Of course you're joking."

MinE

that is weird. P.s I want those Starry eyed kidnappers to lose a couple of eyes. P.s.s Mana cores work too.

Diego Rossi

"Instead of one group of troublemakers, there were now two." They aren't actually 2 groups of two? For Alice: the eight eyed wolves and the Starry Eyed kidnappers. For the Starry eyed base: the immortal and his half metal companion and the spider monsters. Unless I am mistaken, they are in two different locations.

David Brims

Suggestion: Instead of one group of troublemakers, there were now two. --> And so unbeknownst to Alice and her companions, their carefully curated hunting trip was well on its' way to becoming a total fiasco.

I occasionally use them while writing, but only if I feel the situation is appropriate. In real life, I seem to never use curse words for some reason... Which is a bit odd, but it is what I feel suits me. Or something like that? Basically, they sometimes show up in writing but not often, and never in person. I just feel like if you curse it should mean something in the text, if that makes sense, instead of just being a casual part of speech. Idk.

MinE

Hopefully those starry eyed child steeling imbeciles get what's coming to them. P.s what's your view on using curse words?
